I bought these mainly to use for home recording and to keep my wife happy while I'm writing and practicing guitar parts. It's been a while since I've owned a "full-sized" set of headphones. So, with that in mind, they seemed a little heavy at first but they're actually quite comfortable even after extended wear. I just finished using them for about 2 hours straight and they didn't bother me too much. They block ALL of the outside noises around you except when there's no sounds coming though them. They deliver quality tones, TONS of bass, nice treble and everything in between with no static or hum. There's plenty of padding to keep you wearing them with no discomfort. The nice long cord means it won't be in your way, as long as you're not too far away from your output unit. For the price, it's a good deal.

Well they're alright. Listening to them as I'm writing this and the sound quality is better than expected. The input jack has some crackling when the cord is moved around gently. I still won't return them though, for the price, it's not worth the hassle. I will only use these for personal use, and for that and the price, it's well worth it.

The straight cord is a plus; that's what sold me on this set. Great sound, well made, well packaged. You can't go wrong. I use mine to practice bass guitar through privately.

Comments about CAD MH110 Studio Headphones:

I'm happy with the sound quality of these headphones, relative to their price. I use them primarily as monitoring for one of our band members during recording sessions. The drawback to them is that they don't fit a standard set of adult ears very well, and are uncomfortable for wearing for long periods.

Lost Left Side After A Month

          By Les Q

          from Tulsa, Oklahoma

Comments about CAD MH110 Studio Headphones:

Bought these on sale, liked them. Lots of isolation, decent sound. Using them on the output of a Presonus Audiobox. After one month, the left side quit working. I tried them with several sources, jiggled the wires but it would not work. Grabbed my receipt and headed to the GC store. Doug listened to my problem and said "do you want store credit?" Of course!! Ended up paying a few extra bucks for some great Sennheisers (my favorite brand). The CADs are alright if you can't afford more than they cost, but quality costs, so choose wisely.

I wasn't looking for anything spectacular, just a spare set of headphones. I usually use Sony 7506's, have for many years. These CAD 'phones are OK by comparison; I think I got my money's worth.
