The CAD Pro-4-Drum Mic Pack is designed to cover the miking needs of the touring drummer or percussionist with ease, excellence, and economy. The pack consists of one CAD KM 212 dynamic kick drum microphone, 2 CAD TM 211 tom mics, and one CAD SN 210 dynamic snare mic with a frequency response specifically tweaked for snare. The CAD TM 211 tom mics and CAD SN 210 snare mics include integral shockmount mic clips for optimal sound and easy mounting.
these little mics sound good im happy i bought these im a drummer on a budjet but they made my taye drumkit sound sick i recommmed them so get your self the set, o yeah when you buy other mics you gotta buy the mic clips these come ready to mount!!!!!
I'd have given this set four stars, but I'm going to have to return it 'cuz one of the 211 tom mics arrived DOA. Response from the kick mic is a bit flat, but can be compensated for if you're running thru a decent board. the 210 mic and the one functional 211 sound great when hooked up to either floor or rack toms, not so great when used on the snare.
I mic my 16" floor tom with the KM212, 14" floor and 12" tom with the TM211's. I just adjusted the eq a little bit and these work just fine. I recomend the sennheiser 602 for the bass drum. This setup is basic and easy to work with.
