  • Great Tool, Great Sound

As reviewed by John on 4/9/2010

Very pleasantly surprised by this little unit. All plugs/cords/headphones included, but I use my Bose QC3 or Bose InEar headphones. Great sound, with plenty of volume.I use the line-in for playing along w Mp3, which also sounds great. Plugs right into bass, allowing me to move around, head out on deck, take with me to practice when visiting family, etc. Highly recommended and Great Value. My teacher was also impressed with it.

  • Great for quiet jamming!

As reviewed by Bob B on 10/9/2010

I bought this at my local GC a few days ago simply because I need to jam more with my bass to get back into the groove after years of not playing. You know how we NEED drums, and songs to play along with for practice. Playing through my amp confines me to my living room, and limits my volume levels too much at night. This does not take the place of an amp, but is good enough to get some "non invasive" play time in, anywhere you need to. It does an adequate job for the cost. The 2 amp models can work in your favor when you tweak your setting on your bass. With my active electronics I prefer the tite setting, it's not so muddy. It does have a few issues other have pointed out, like the very tight battery cover...which requires pressing down a bit hard to lock it closed with even thumb pressure, carefully. Also, the headset is really cheesy, so I use my Audio Technica digital monitor headset, and it improves the sound tremendously. It got louder and cleaner so I'm happy overall. The jack plug fits my Schecter C4 Custom snugly(bottom mount), and is pivoted to mount in any direction needed, so it folds down for gig bag storage. Overall, I would recommend getting one, it does the job!

  • It does the job

As reviewed by Bruce Smith on 8/15/2009

Not nearly what I expected from the write up. They didn't really lie but I don't feel was the whole truth. Lacks the Volume with the headset provided I thought it would provide. It will do the job of giving me an opportunity to hear the bass, but even with active pick ups and the volume all the way up it is just barely passable.
