  • Great practice tool

As reviewed by figbassist75 on 3/30/2009

I bought this little jewel to have something that I can plug into when I don't have the time to use my full rig for personal practice sessions at home. First off, the sound is better than expected from a pocket sized amp but there is a serious issue with amp buzz. I was able to adjust some of it with a little tweaking of the volume and filter controls. The filter adjusts the bass, treble, and mid-range but not to the levels that you would get out of a regular practice amp. There is a switch that toggles from a tite setting to big, and that allows either for a deep bass sound or a punchy P-bass sound. The head phones that are included are cheap but they do the trick nicely. The line out feature is a plus for me because I can easily plug in my digital recorder and play along with my band's song set and this is a nice feature. Even with some minor problems with buzz and a slight struggle to properly insert a 9volt into the battery compartment, this is a good buy for me personally that is a useful tool in my musician's took kit.

  • Great Sound

As reviewed by Pablo Sanchez on 3/3/2009

The sound in this device is great. I was surprised the first time I used it at how crisp and clean the sound was. The bass sounds just as it would coming out of an amp. Perfect for those of us living in apartments. The line in feature is really cool too. Lets you hook up your ipod to play along.

  • awesome quality, low price

As reviewed by BassGod2271 on 7/2/2009

ok so, i walked into guitar center wanting a small little practice amp that wasn't too loud because my mom would complain. i was lookin at all the practice amps and for some reason i walked to the accesory counter and saw this, when i brought it home and plugged it in it didn't work so i brought it back and exchanged it for a new one, i brought that one home and i love it so much!!!!!!! although it could have more settings and tunings i reccomend this to all the people who need something quiet to everyone else but loud to me.
