  • my rocket

As reviewed by adam on 3/3/2008

I just purchased this headphone amp and man does it blow me away. I bought it thinking it would probably be ok and maybe use it once a week when my parents need a break of the loud "annoying noise" that I produce. WOW i was totaly wrong this thing amazed me right when i plugged it in. It sounds way better than my fender g dec practice amp. This has 3 great modes clean classic rock or rock and metal. You can also fool around with the filter creating cool noises. I probably use this more than my amp because of the great sound quality you get. Oh yea this thing gets super loud with headphones! I would reccomend this find product to someone looking for a good way to practice silently without saccrificng sound quality.

  • Quick, Easy, Convenient, Dependable

As reviewed by Peter A. on 8/22/2008

This is a great product for its intended use. If you wish to practice and not bother anybody, this is fantastic. This device works precisely as advertised. Besides, who wants to set up a full size amplifier if you are just going to practice all by yourself? Especially late at night when the entire neighborhood is asleep? Blast away and enjoy.

  • Portable, but sound quality is average

As reviewed by John Ber N. on 7/3/2009

I love the portability this headphone amp provides, and it gets really loud with headphones. It also works great with my iPod as I can play along to my favorite tunes. Sadly, the sound quality is almost similar to my Squier SP-10 amp I intended to replace with this. Mutes sound muffled, and sustains aren't that great. Either way, you get what you pay for, and I love the price. I'm now using this as a preamp for Guitar Rig 3.
