Feel the music.

The ButtKicker Gamer mounts to the center post of your drum throne or studio console chair so that you can feel low frequency sound vibrations even at low volume. Turn down or turn off your subwoofer and still feel all the bass you want. Designed for gaming, but perfectly suited for drummers, other seated musicians, and studio technicians. Hear powerful bass even while using headphones. Use it in your recording studio, at live performances, and during rehearsals. The Gamer allows you to truly feel the bottom end of the music in your bottom end, for an enhanced sense of rhythm and musicality.

As the Gamer name implies, it can also be used for video games, ideally suited to apartment or dormitory use.

The Tactile Transducer connects easily to most drum thrones or chairs with a center post. The Gamer includes a 100W power amplifier and all the connection cables needed to get you up and running quickly and without hassle. Feel what you've been missing in your gaming sound effects, and in your music!

Great device for drummers!

What makes this a great product for drummers is that you can feel your bass drum when you play which really helps, especially at those gigs where you cant always hear the bass drum. I rated this product with 4 stars because I had to buy a cable to run it from my mixer. I'm hoping the company will include a "drummer's kit" in the future consisting of a 15' XLR or 1/4" plug to RCA jack on a 15' cable as well as a bushing set which will allow it to clamp more securely on drum thrones (I had to raise my seat a bit and used a small piece of cardboard to make it fit). Otherwise, it appears to be a well made product for a great price! Friendly, competent tech support as well!

Great For Music

I've had if for a couple of weeks now and I've got to say I'm very impressed. You have to tweak the settings a little but once you get it to where you want, it's awesome. Don't get it twisted, there is some audible thump so you'd have to adjust the levels if you don't want to disturb anyone. Especially if you have thin walls/floors. Also, the amp can get pretty noisy. I'd say about as loud as an xbox 360. Otherwise, it's a great device.
