I had purchased a used Ampeg SVT-810 and was looking for an affordable head to drive this monster. Wen I saw the Nuke and the price had to have it. I could not believe the value. Once I plugged it in and started jamming it was a match made in heaven. Huge power, versatility and a tube head at that. I have bought several other Bugera products and have had not problems.Great value for a novice anyway.
bought this monster of a power house, took it home and plugged it in. turned it on and it made the lights in my apt. fade...i have played on a lot of bass amps and never have i found an amp for this price with this much power and actually sounds pretty good. you got to have at least a 20amp. circuit to run this monster,but if you need enough power to take the walls down! this guy is for you.
I play rock/pop music in a large venue, and believe me when I say that this head delivers some of the cleanest and punchiest notes, I decided to pair it with a Markbass STD104HF-8 because an ampeg 8x10 is too heavy to carry, our sound engineer tells me that it cuts through the band like a hot knife on butter. A great buy if you're on a budget but you wont want to get rid of it.
