The Superdrive Series II 18 head is designed for the clubs and project studio. This lightweight two-channel EL-84 driven amp offers sparkling rhythm complexity with super sensitive hi gain articulation. The jewel in this amp is apparent when the power section heats up and the dual 84's are being pushed to the point of no return. There something to be said about getting the power tubes to act like a preamp cranked where the sag of the circuit is creamy and the hang time on the note is forever at your fingertip. The Superdrive 18 is voiced for modern vintage styles of music.
Plexi meets AC30 with modern tone capabilities. Hands down the most versatile amp you can buy when you are looking for the tones I decribed and does everything but the Fender Twin tone. I compared this amp next to a plexi, AC30, AC50 Classic and it simply kicks their rear ends. The versatility of a modeling amp but with tubes. Dont worry about the volume it is LOUD and unless you are doing large arenas this will keep up.

I've been through all your standard amps (marshalls, fenders, boogies, peavey) as well as your boutiques (fargen, egnater, bogner, matchless) and i've always ended up trading them for something else until now. The Budda Superdrive 18 is one of the best sounding, clean and distorted amps out there. Well balance, very articulate and responsive. The effects loop works great, the channel switching is noiseless. The amp doesn't have many controls but it doesn't matter because everything sounds great from this amp. You spend more time playing and less time tweakin'....that's a good thing.
