Combining the construction elements of the graduated top thickness and the bridge truss this guitar creates a stable sound with a long sustain. Outfitted with myrtlewood back and sides for a balanced tone and eye-catching looks. Just an Amazing instrument!

By Glenn Alexander

from New Buffalo, MI

Bought this for my wife, an accomplished musician who teaches, directs choirs, and writes music. She already owned 2 nice guitars...but this one was her instant favorite. The sound is just so true and resonates perfectly with out being connected to an amp. When she uses in church with her choirs every musician was in awe.....and well as congregation members who appreciate the nuances of a fine instrument. We would suggest this guitar to anyone...but take the time to research Breedlove as well as scouring you tube for videos. The quality of the wood was evident and the myrtlewood just beautiful. Even the case was top of the line.

Wow, are these not selling or are folks just not reviewing?

By Harold Smith

from Somewwhere MD

Got this about 3 weeks ago (not gonna' have to worry about the 30 day return on this one!) and every time I pick it up I love it more. I have an Atlas J350 Solo and love it but wanted to move up a notch and also get a smaller bodied guitar. I was looking at a concert sized American or Oregon series as well as a couple of used Focus SEs and a not so gently used Masterclass. Then I saw a video of this guitar compared unplugged and plugged on Fazio's and was sold. It was a tad more than I wanted to spend but worth every penny. To preface this review, there are not a lot of reviews or sound clips out there for the Breedlove Voice series and only one I found that decently compared the sound plugged to unplugged. I will agree 100% with the previous review in that this is a very quiet guitar unplugged, but that is not what it was designed for. - Fit and finish, It's an American made Breedlove. If you have played a Breedlove concert series before it will feel pretty much the same as far as action, nut widthe, balance, and playability. In other words, fantastic. It is a very light and well balanced guitar that plays like butter. Myrtle is an incredibly good looking tonewood. - Buying experience, Got a good deal, GC honored the price match policy and the salespeople were very helpful. Even though I have to pay sales tax for online orders I don't mind that knowing I can do a return to a store if necessary. Overall great experience with GC again. - Sound, ahhh now to the real deal! I was worried that unplugged this guitar would be kinda' weak and thin like a lot of Taylors I have played in the same price range. Not so! Unplugged in a small/medium sized room this guitar has such a balanced tone that it is amazing. String to string separation, sustain forever, and just the right amount of balance between the lows, mids, and trebles, then add in the harmonics? I would call it almost angelic. Then wwe plug it in to a Fishman Loudbox Artist, all EQ set flat and no effects and guess what? It sounds exactly the same only louder. THIS is what I was looking for! I was floored by how good this guitar actually sounds. All of that said, if you are looking for a bluegrass or rock cannon that can cut thru a banjo and fiddle unplugged this is NOT the guitar for you. If you want a very well balanced guitar with killer tone for fingerstyle, singer/songwriter, or light to medium strumming that sounds great plugged in then put this on the top of your short list!

Deserving of more reviews

By Jake Holmes

First off, I can't believe I'm the first to review this guitar. I believe this guitar might just be a hidden gem that hasn't got the attention it deserves for whatever marketing reason. Here's my review: If you're looking for an unplugged stage guitar, this is not it. This guitar is at it's best unplugged in a small room, or plugged in anywhere. The sound it produces unplugged is soft, sweet, beautiful, with a long chiming sustain.. but it's not loud. It's perfect for fingerpicking lovely tunes. Plugged in, it really does sound like it does unplugged, only as loud as you want it to be. The small body is light and comfortable, even just chilling out laid back on a sofa. Plugged in, this thing is absolutely brilliant for producing a wonderful acoustic tone. This guitar plugged in on stage is > than a big Dread unplugged any day. As far as looks, I love it. The myrtle wood is absolutely stunning for a guitar in this price range, though I think it depends on luck just how well the back/sides wood grain look on your particular instance of this guitar. I happen to love the modern headstock on breed loves. It plays easy as well, though the stock setup wasn't quite to my finger style tastes. If you're looking for a perfect even tone across the strings, this is your guitar. If you're looking for a loud unplugged strummer, you will be disappointed. This guitar is about finesse and plugged in acoustic perfection.
