Stunning sound.

Comments about Breedlove Oregon Series C20/SMYe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have two Martin Golden Era guitars D-18GE and 000-18GE Both are absolutely amazing sound. This guitar is just as beautiful sounding but in a totally different way. The Myrtlewood back and sides give it a bright sound that just sings to you. The highs are so crisp and artculate it will amaze you. Lows are not as resounding at the Martins I have but are not lacking by any means. You can still hear and feel the lows while playing. I keep finding myself daydreaming about it while I'm at work and can't wait to get home to play it. The 1 3/4" nut is just the size I like. Workmanship is ablsulutely first rate. The aren't the most figured pieces but that does not effect the sound. I'm more interested in sound than looks. The finish is perfect.

Speechless.

Comments about Breedlove Oregon Series C20/SMYe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

It's hard to put into words how beautiful this guitar looks and sounds, but I will try. Every individual string is balanced and rings out clear in a strum. The balance between the bass, treble, and mids is remarkable. Every note is very pronounced in fingerstyle. This guitar would suit recording perfectly. The electronics are alright, pretty low end Fishman undersaddle pickup but it does the job. The projection of the guitar is phenomenal and though this is a concert size body, it is wonderfully loud and pronounced without being muddy. And though not nearly as important, the looks of the guitar are just as pleasing. I'm absolutely blown away by this guitar. Breedlove really scored a gem with using Myrtlewood for this Oregon series.
