This guitar combines a warm bassy tone with crisp high notes. The playability is amazing- feels like your fingers just fly across the frets. It looks beautiful and has a great sound for various styles of music. A universal guitar!!! I've tried a bunch of guitars before I setteled with this one and there is no comparable guitar in this price range. Not even close. It compares more to guitars double the price. There's always a guitar that's better and more expensive, but this guitar is a great value deal. Can't go wrong with this one! I just love it!!! I didn't know Breedlove before I tried the AD25 SM and I can only recommend this brand. Great guitars!!! Check out the Pro series as well if your budget allows it...
This is my 2nd breedlove guitar and am even more impressed than I was before. I had orginally had one of the focus series guitars when I played during college and absolutely loved it. I had purchased it used from a boutique shop. I sold it once I stopped playing out on a regular basis. so recently I had the opportunity to hear a few people play some of these atlas series guitars without knowing much about them. I thought they were custom shop pieces until I saw the label in the soundhole, they sounded that good. I purchased my AD25/SM after playing dozens of guitars and multiple shops. The sound is so balanced and full, like a grand piano. You can feel the sound resonate through the entire guitar and it projects with a warmth that is hard to find in newer guitars. The tone matches guitars costing 2-3 times as much. Once you experience a breedlove I am confident you will not purchase anything else. I know I wont.
This guitar is by far the best guitar I've ever owned. I have ovations,Ibanez's,and a masterbuilt Epiphone. But this breedlove tops them all. I enjoy the wide fretboard easy string playing and the smooth sound. The fishman classic 4 pickup is by far the best sound coming out of a drednought jumbo body. i would recommend this guitar to anyone!
The Breedlove Atlas AD25/SM is a great guitar for any player. I bought this guitar around the end of January, and it still has the sound fresh out of the box. The guitar itself is striaght-up gorgeous in a natural finish. The day I purchased the guitar, I was planning on getting a cheap-o martin, but the boys at GC gave me some advice, and said this was the better guitar. I have to agree with them now. I threw some Elixir strings on it, and now the guitar's sound is beyond majestic. I have gotten many comments from my youth and adult praise teams at my church complementing the sound and the look. So, if you want to throw over $1000 on the martin or taylor name, go for it, but this guitar has the quality and the looks that tower over all the rest in its price range. Go with Breedlove, you will not be dissapointed
This is a great guitar. As another user said, I'll echo the comment about it falling between a Taylor and Martin acoustic. It's not as much of a cannon as a Martin, and it's not as much of a player's guitar as a Taylor, but it is the best of both worlds. I'd highly recommend this guitar, especially at this price. I feel it'd be nearly impossible to find a better guitar in the price range. Can't go wrong with this one.
This guitar is awesome. It sounds great plugged or unplugged. I got it the other day and can't put it down. I was lookin for a martin or taylor but they were just too expensive for me. For this price, there is no other guitar even close to as good.
These breedloves are quality guitars. I've had about six different Taylors and this is much warmer sounding. I'm mostly a Martin player but this Breedlove falss right in the middle of Taylors and Martins at a great price. Great guitar, great value and most importantly, great tone. :D Get one, you won't be sorry.
I only played this guitar at Guitar Center, but now I want one. I had never heard of Breedlove, but I was amazed at the brilliant sound and wonderful feel to this. The solid body provides a warm, full sound. And only being a "OOO" size, it compares well to it's Dreadnought counterpart. This will be my next guitar purchase
I have bee playing this guitar for about one month now, and it plays great. The playability of the fret board is by far the best of any guitar at this price point, the action is pretty ok. The tone is more warm than twangy, it's very nice. The electronics are ok, but nothing special. Overall, this guitar plays better than most others for the same price or maybe even a bit more. I have owned expensive Taylors and inexpensive Yamahas, but this is my new favorite.
This is a beautiful guitar with a much larger tone that I expected. The first thing that caught my eye is the Abalone design around the sound hole, body binding and fingerboard. The rosewood back and sides are well finished and polished. The neck has smooth action for easy playability. The Fishman IV pickup system sounds bright and clear when plugged in. The quality of this guitar matchess my Taylor and Martin acoustics. I highly recommend this guitar.
