Breedlove Concert
The Breedlove Concert is the original Breedlove shape. It first appeared in 1992, and has been the best-selling Breedlove body shape ever since. Designed specifically for the fingerstylist to be well-balanced, compact, and comfortable to play, it generates a wonderfully articulate range of tone with an ample low end that is never boomy, but always felt. The unique construction also allows the Concert to sing even at a full strum. If you’re a fingerstylist, or are seeking an instrument to use as vocal accompaniment, this is the shape for you. The Concert is engineered to provide exceptional sustain with a pronounced bass response, both of which can be achieved with a light touch. The graduated top works in harmony with the Breedlove Bridge Truss to provide an even response throughout the lows, mids, and highs, with sustain, and clear, concise, note-for-note projection.

Getting a lot of cocmplements on this guitar's looks & sound. Played it through Church House sound system. Just changed strings. Pinless bridge is great. What a value. Sounds and looks as good as guitars costing 4X as much. Electronics are fairly quiet noise wise but output is hi-impedance unbalanced 1/4 inch only. Used a DI Box, worked fine. It's loud unplugged with excellent string balance. B4 you lay out all that cash on a Martin or Taylor play a Breedlove. You won't be disappointed.

  • Breedlove, a class of its own.

Beautiful guitar. Bold bright sound. GC matched another company's price 2 weeks after I purchased the guitar. Good electronics. Very happy with it & GC service. Two other player in band use Taylor & Martin so this guitar gives us a 3rd type of acoustic sound.

  • Love my Breedlove! (GC rocks!)

As reviewed by JOSEPH on 6/13/2015

I'd purchased this guitar (Breedlove 2014 Stage Concert) sight on-seen. I was a little skeptical, of course, especially considering it's an acoustic guitar. I'd tried many Martins and Taylors and was actually leaning in that direction, but went with the Breedlove . Naturally, it couldn't pass it up; and I'm glad I didn't. This guitar is all that I expected, and more! The sound, to me me anyway, is something between a Martin and a Taylor, and it looks more like one of the higher-end models that go for 3 or 4K. I only wish it came with a 1 3/4" nut width, instead of the standard 1 11/16", which I find a little too narrow for my Neanderthal fingers, and perhaps an ebony fretboard; but it's something I can easily live with. BTW, the guys at Guitar Center in Port St. Lucie Fl (Brad, Josh and Derrek) were fantastic. They set up the guitar for me (for free) and were very helpful thorough-out the whole process. I will certainly recommend GC to anyone looking for high quality, reasonable prices and great service. Anyway hope this helps. Joe P. P.S. Love one woman... and several guitars.
