Had this guitar for several months and here's what i think The Downsides Crafted in Korea, 3 piece neck, laminate sides The action isn't high but pretty low, flat pick it with moderate strength and it'll buzz hitting the first fret of the D string Intonation is not it's strong point Breedlove was smart for not giving it a cut-away Sustain isn't significant but it's definitely not damp The Upsides Tonal quality is AMAZING despite it's cheap construction it beats a Martin D-28 and is almost on the same level as a $3K Taylor Very powerful very loud and very dynamic the highs are balanced with the lows but it keeps a deep rich sound VERY comfortable neck and you won't have any problem actually playing the guitar The Moderates Tuners work well very satisfactory Preamp will do it's job On board Tuner is easy to use and accurate Overall:It's worth more than you pay for really

  • WOWZERS

As reviewed by guitar player dude yeah on 9/19/2008

This guitar actually surprised me. I have just sold my AC25 Atlas Series and bought this because it sounds so much better. I tried out Martins, Taylors, Gibson's. This guitar just OWNS all of them. It has a crisp tone and a really deep tone. If you like a really bassy type of guitar this is right for you. If you like a really high pitched but want a retro series go with the D/SM This guitar is worth the price!!! LIKE FOREALS!!! GO GET IT NOW!!!!

  • want it but don't have the coin right now...but someday!

I've been looking for a traditional style or non-cutaway acoustic electric and this guitar sounds incredible! The action is level all the way up the neck. The tone acoustically is wonderful and it even has a on board tuner. I played this guitar while on vacation in Michigan at a store called Firehouse guitars (hi to Anthony and A.J.!)and since I was on vacation I didn't have any xtra funds to purchase this little gem but I'm hoping to get the dough together to purchase this in the near future. If you get a chance to play this beauty...do it...you won't be disapointed that you at least tried it.
