The exceptional craftsmen at Breedlove Guitars have produced another outstanding instrument in the Master Class King Koa. This soft cutaway concert model guitar is meticulously made, skillfully combining figured koa for the back and sides and for the top, western red cedar. The soft satin neck is hand-rubbed fine-grained mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, bridge and peghead overlay. The saddle and nut are made of bone. Bound in breathtaking crimson colored Master Class bloodwood with abalone purfling, this guitar also features an abalone spoked rosette. On the fingerboard you will find a very intricate mother-of-pearl and abalone inlay of a mermaid and dolphin. In addition there is a seagull inlay on the 5th fret.
When played, the King Koa just sings. Loud and responsive, especially in the lower register, it is a lively performer as well as a true investment piece that will delight you and your family for generations to come.
