This pedal is totally amazing. It has 16 minutes of recording time and 11 loop phrases to store them in. I play jazz so I can record a chord progression and then solo over it. The pedal also has 33 drum patterns and has patterns for many different styles of music. The pedal allows you to set your own tempo before you play and the pedal also has a guide which can set the tempo if you have not set it already. The loop station may be a little expensive, but it is worth it. It has helped me and it can help you.

Just purchased this week. After reading entire booklet on the operation of this very well rated pedal. I have to disagree with the all the other five star opionions I did make my decision to purchase from all the evaluations people did. However it is far to complex in a very small package to use on stage and can messed up very easily. Im using a Tripple Rec Messa Boogie with Line 6 Cab.

Great For Jamming and Live

By Johann

from Boise, Idaho

This pedal is great to use when looping a riff and putting a solo on top of it or even just looping it to have fun and jam. The possibilities are truly endless with this pedal, you can not only loop guitar riffs at the stomp of the pedal, but you can even produce bass drops live when you press this pedal! Truly an amazing idea and well worth the investment.

Great loop Station

By Forrest Kohl

from Modesto CA

I bought this two days ago and its been a great addition to my pedal board. It makes writing and layering riffs very easy. the only problem is that for some people it may be a little complicated but after a while you'll be able to use it fine if you read the manual. its definitely worth the price

Worth The Money

By Will

from Cincinnati, OH

This pedal is sweet. I was a little nauseous when I handed the cashier the money but it was worth it. I use it to record a couple chords then I solo over it. I don't use this during band practice because it's a little to hard to manipulate. If you want something to use during band, I would look at the more expensive boss looper pedals. It's well worth the money.

Epic loop!!

By Alex

from sacramento, california

This thing is awesome... I had been playing for 6 years and was o.k. I went out and bought this thing and my skill skyrocketed. Just play a few chords or whatever you want and you solo or make a rythm off of that. It is so easy and helps you wether you are just messing around or trying to perfect a solo for your song! Go buy it!

Not Good......

By SlashFan#1

from Okeene,OK

I don't like this pedal at all. It gets screwed up and when it does everything else gets screwed up. I really like Boss equipment so I bought the RC-20XL and it's so much better than this thing. Don't buy this buy the twin pedal of this. It's a lot easier to work with and funner too. Yeah it costs a little bit more but it's well worth every penny. Don't buy this!! Buy the RC-20XL loop station!! It's exactly the same but better!!!

Wow. Just wow.

By Jonathan Draughn

from McLain, MS

I got this pedal last night, and already I'm stunned. Everybody has that problem with your band not bein able to get together to practice enough. Well this is the perfect solution! Composition is made so much easier in every aspect, this pedal is just great! It's confusing at first, but twenty minutes of fiddlin around on it, and you'll love it. Thanks to this, I've almost finished a symphony that took me a month and a half before that. Buy it. If you care about your sound, buy it!

If you looking for loop at moderately low price BUY THIS!

By Jaylo

from NJ

This pedal is awesome its like a full band in one powerful stompbox. First off this has drumlines, 16 minutes(in 30 second increments) of loop time, and overdubing. The digitech hardwire looper is less and has delay but the loop it only has 20 seconds of loop time and no drum lines. This pedal also has multible phrase selects to save up to ten phrases. The digi tech doesnt. The only thing I dont like about it is I use this as a rythm in my band... yeah thats this ones weak point and the digi tech hardwires strength. Sometimes when looping something I want looped alone with nothing in the backround it will sometimes play a drumline with it or play some of the loops on it. And a tip if your amp has built in effects dont use them while this is looping the loop will have the effect to.

recording studio stompbox

By that one guy

from ionia MI

I just got this for cristmass granted i was a litle confused becouse it didnt come with a manual, but after the first couple of minouts the pedal became a sinch to oporate.as for all the revews that say the drum beats come out distorted, just put your amp on a clean seting and throw a distortion peadal on before the loop station then only your guitar will be distorted... thers a volume controle for the drum beat and also for your playbacks, all in all its an amazing peadal seariously if you can fit 16 minoutes into each of 11 slots for playback and save, change timeing ,dub over dub and dealeat remove and replace your over lays its just amazing how they can put almost a whole recording studio into one lite bity stomp box i would be vary angry if it were to get stollen definetly a five star stomp box you wont find these at the local pawn shop
