I've always purchased the adapters to go with my pedals to save me some hassle. Whenever i used this adapter in my pedal layout it added quite a bit of hissing to to my amp (both when the pedal was engaged and unengaged). Honestly for the money, just buy a 1spot. You'll get slightly less noise and a whole lot more output plugs for powering more pedals.

The PSA-120S and the PCS-20A parallel cords are great why waste money on 9v batteries these will pay for them self's in no time, if you play any at all with Boss stomp boxes you must have its well worth the money.
When I bought the unit, I didn't think I needed the adapter, but I found out that this unit eats batteries. The adapter works like a charm....no more expensive batteries.
Adapter does not last. I have gone through two of these in a year. I am not abusing it. I use it in a stationary rack unit. Find another adapter.
Quite honestly I feel like the MAIN reason why you have to have this is because only Boss adapters are capable of working with Boss pedals. None other work with them.(Boss users should know)But other than that it's good to have so that you're not just running on battery life which you never know when it'll quit on you.
It was great at the beginning, but after about 6 months it started to create noise through my pedals. Only 2 pedals were ever used at a time, so I know I did not overload it. I swapped out this power supply for the older version and I have not had any problems. I would guess I had a bad one.
I Really dig my ME70 Multi effects Pedal but I've already purchased TWO replacement PSA120 adapters in the 4 years that I've owned the ME70. These adapters seem to break for no other reason than it's a few years old.
Actually, better than good. I think it's better made than some of the cheaper priced power supplies. Boss makes good effects pedals & I would imagine this power supply will hold up in quality just as well. I bought this to power my MXR M-80 Bass Direct Box. I like the longer cord length. The transformer is smaller & doesn't take up 2 spots on a plug strip. It gets the job done for me. Spend the little extra & get this power supply.
Be careful when ordering this product. GC seems to recommend it with tons of dc powered items. However, you need to check the voltage of the item you want to power. This is a 9 volt adapter. Many items you may want to power are 18 volt. Other than that, this is a great product.
I have gone through two of these adapters. If they were only half as tough and reliable as the Boss pedals I own. They are fragile and poorly constructed, especially for gigging musicians.
what can i say? this cord gets the job done easily, at a low cost
