I give this pedal board 3 stars for one reason only - RF interference. The board is neatly laid out, especially for Boss pedals, with a covered channel for the wiring. However, with all the convenient plugs, Input, Send, Return, Output, there appears to be too many unshielded connections. I got RF interference to the extent that the board was unusable. Without that problem I would have given the board 5 stars.

great pedal board

By TimmyR41

from Mifflinburg PA

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

The bcb-60 is a great pedal board. It can hold up to 6 pedals and 1 tuner and can even be made to hold double pedals and odd shaped pedals. Works with all pedals, not just boss pedals. It is really easy to keep all of your cords in line but running them through the cord channel and it will supply power for up to 7 pedals. This pedal board makes set up and tear down quick and easy with no mess of wires and helps to protect your expesive pedals. Great product!

Great but is 7 enough?

By Strat Doc

from Chicago, Illinois

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I thought this would do it and I weaned myself to 4 stomps and a digitech expresssion pedal that has about 5 useful functions. Then I need that compression/sustain, then I needed to add in my looper and pretty soon I have to pedals on either side of the box! Plus I have to bring my DC brick! So be it for the moment, but I guess you might consider a board that allows for maybe 10 or 12 instead of 7. Otherwise great though. Solid!

solid quality, but does not power pedals over 9v

By John in Denver

from Denver

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I love the features of this pedal board. pros: 1. It has a hard case with removable top. 2. has the ability to use with locks. 3. somes with all cables needed for immediate use. including power daisy chain. 4. easy setup, that keeps sires locked in place and somewhat out of site. Cons: 1. will not power pedals that require more than 9 volts of power. .... for instance if you use the DANELECTRO COOL CAT CHORUS PEDAL. you must use the 2 internal 9v batteries to power the pedal. This pedal board will not supply the 18v necessary for the cool cat pedal to work. so it's kind of a bummer it won't work with all of my existing pedals. other than this small snafu, it's everything i hoped it would be. a little pricey, but solid and well thought out.

Should've bought it sooner

By C. H. Robinson

from Palmyra, NJ

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I always wanted to get a pedal board for the ease of use and neatness as oppossed to my usual cluttered lineup of 6" cables and AC cords. This pedal board solved all of that. Just one AC cable in to the board with your guitar in and out to amp, and boom ready to go. When you are done clip the top back on and go on your way. I do use mostly boss with some MXR mixed in but they all fit fine and you can customize the foam if need be. I do not recommed putting a wah in although it is possible. Because it supplies it's own power and comes with the pedal cables and gives the option for stereo outputs and packs up neatly makes me wonder why I didn't buy this sooner.

Pretty darn Good

By Matt

from Las Vegas NV

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I have been going back and forth for ever about buying a pedal board and finally gave in and bought one because im tired of my singer kicking my pedals off or on. First off this will fit a Wah but nothing bigger than a Crybaby and you can only put it in the first spot. I use all MXR pedals and they fit just fine. The cable manager is great. It looks nice and clean. It comes with everything you need. And to my surprise it is pretty quite. Im very happy with this and would recommend it.

Awesome Pedalboard

By ttlax23

from Bridgewater, NJ

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

This pedal board is just the cure for anyone who needs to power and house up to six of their pedals. I love how I can just plug in two cables and power on and I'm good to go. The only problem I've had is that the clips that hold the lid on are both flimsy and they both broke off quick.

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

The boss bcb 60is the easest way to transport and organize your pedals. even if you don't need to take your pedals any where you should still get the board. It provides power to all of your pedals and keep them organized. the case is too tough but it fine if you don't fly with it. If you want an easy to to transport, organize, or power your pedals the bcb 60 won't let you down.

Nice price... Poor Quality.

By Steve

from North Carolina

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I bought this about a year ago because I wanted a small powered board for my pedals. It is really easy to set up and use. It came with all the power chords, daisy, changes and connectors which I thought was cool. The only problem with this board is that it was plastic. The clasps that hold the thing shut are really cheap and break very easily... I had to replace the board after two months because the clasps broke and I was unable to keep the case closed during travel. This is a great board if you are keeping it in the practice room.... However, the plastic is NOT road worthy and cannot take the abuse. A word to the wise... spend the extra money and get a case built like a tank... It will last you longer!

BE ORGANIZED

By Metallifan

from Denver, CO

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

If you are tired of having loose, space-consuming cables just laying around when you play with your effect pedals, this product is very helpful. The Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board compacts all your cables and pedals into a compact, organized case. It is able to store most single effect pedals and twin pedals! With all the great features it offers, it is very easy to playwith. For example the AC adapter is a great feature that it comes with. You can power up to 7 pedals at one time! The box also is good for easy storage and transportation. This pedal board is a great product for hobbyists or for preformers.

BCB-60 review

By AidenWhoever

from West Linn, OR

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

It is a good pedal board for the money but you are limited to boss pedals only because of the spacing and you only have room for 6. If you know what you need and that is it then your set, but if you like to collect or mix and match then go with something else.

Keep Your Pedals Safe

By TheRaygun

from Reynoldsburg, OH

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

This is a great pedalboard to keep your effects safe and setup. I finally got frustrated with setting up my effects everytime I went to play out, so I finally got a pedalboard to save me some time. This is a great board, light but durable, plus the patchbay makes it very convenient.

Excellent Board

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I just got this pedalboard 2 days ago, and I already love it! The initial setup was extremely easy; I didn't even have to look at the instructions to do it. It powers your pedals, which is a great feature. It keeps your pedals safein the padded case. The only possible thing that isn't good about it is that it's plastic and the clasps that hold it together are a little flimsy. Overall, this is a must buy of anyone who has pedals.

Good pedal board for the price!!

By Dave

from Ohio

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I have used the BCB-60 for over 5 years now and overall it has been a great pedal board with only a few minor faults. The first issue that I ran into (and I see many others have as well) is that my wah pedal would not fit. Being as determined as I was, I could not except that my wah wouldn't fit so I decided to do a little dis-assembly in order to make it work. I removed the long bar which revealed an area on the right side that would accommodate my wah. I also had to cut out a footprint in the foam padding. After about a year of using that set up I bought a Boss GT-8 and desperately needed a good case. By removing the bar and all of the foam inserts in the bottom I was able to fit the GT-8 perfectly into the case!!! The only **problem** I have had is that one of the plastic latches cracked. Still usable but will need replaced soon. Overall, this pedal board has been a great value for the price. Don't be discouraged if at first your wah pedal doesn't fit. With a slight "alteration" most any pedal should fit.

Boss Pedalboard

By Dan Armstrong

from Roswell, GA

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

This thing is great, I just got it in the mail today and I only put in 2 pedals but I'm planning on expanding my pedal collection soon. The great aspects of this is how you only need one outlet for it and it hides all the wires needed. It was surprisingly easy to set up. And it works. One thing that's especially tricky is getting the cover off. This was my first pedal board I had ever gotten and I was extremely frustrated. I eventually figured out that you have to raise the lid to a 90 degree angle then push towards the floor. Overall it's a great product though.

Great Board for the money

By Mark

from Portage, IN

Comments about Boss BCB-60 Pedal Board:

I'm not sure where the noise is coming from in the one review, but it's not the board; I'm guessing other grounding issues. I bought this and played out w it the other night...flawless. I run my guitar directly thru my amp and feed the board thru the send and return of my amp's effects loop. Perfect tone, no noise. Love it. I only use four pedals and a wireless stompbox tho; go larger if you have more pedals. But for what I use, it's perfect.
