The Only Tuner You'll Ever Need
I've had countless tuners, but this is the first pedal tuner I've owned, and I'll never buy another. I've used it for guitar and bass since 2002, and have never once had a problem with it.
It seems obvious, but the ability to tune while still facing the audience, and without having to use your hands for the tuner itself is a revelation. If you've never done that before, you will be amazed at how much more professional you and your band will seem.
Keep in mind - NO ONE in the audience wants to hear you tune. Nor do they want to look at your back while you fiddle with your equipment.
The standby feature really helps as well, because it automatically cuts out the signal, so one person can tune while the others begin a song. This has come in quite handy for me on any number of occasions.
One possible negative for some is that there is no condenser mic, so you cannot use it to tune an acoustic guitar without a pickup. This was not an issue for me, though.
I only wish it was a little cheaper, but, that said, it is definitely worth the price for any gigging guitarist or bassist.

Great gig tuner!
We use the Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner at church. Its the best tuner I have used. If you are in a band you have to have this tuner, or else your not sounding your best. The pedal style makes it a hands free unit. The bypass feature on it puts this tuner over the rest. It helps you get a quick tune in the middle of a set and saves your equitment from damaging popping when unplugging.
This is a must have for anyband!

Don't know why I didn't use it before...
I'm a bit of a purist. I play a P-90 equipped guitar through a tube amp with no effects. I just love the way a well built guitar and tube amp sound together. Thankfully, when the TU-2 is off, there is no loss of purity. It's there when you need it and not when you don't. I love it.
Having this tuner is a necessity. All other pedals are fun and add texture, but trust me, you need this pedal. You wouldn't take your guitar to a show without a case, would you? I really don't know why I didn't have this before.

This Is The One!!!
The only thing Boss did wrong on the TU-2 is not make it sooner! Why the fine folks over at Boss took so long to put a tuner in their indestructible housing is baffling. Whatever the reason, we are glad it's here. This is the pinnacle of pedal tuners with more tuning modes than we had the patience to read up on. Whether you are detuning death metal or messing with alternative tunings for indie rock, the TU-2 is really the best choice out there. The bold bright LEDs stand out like traffic lights and makes tuning on dark stages a real snap. The thick layer of plastic mounted above the display is bolted down and should withstand the weight of stomping stage divers or even brawny bouncers. Add to all this the ability to power up seven more effects, and this thing will pay for itself in batteries alone

A must-have for the gigging musician
This pedal has made its way onto thousands of pedal boards over the past few years, and not without reason. I purchased one of these after selling a Fender PT-100 that just didn't track well enough. I have never had a problem with accuracy with the TU-2, and I gig around the order of 3 times a week.
This tuner has a variety of modes and different tuning styles, some more functional than others. Overall, you can't go wrong with this pedal. Though a little more pricey than others, it is built like a tank and will last for decades.

Great for gigging
This pedal is a great addition to any pedalboard. Its built to last just like all other boss pedals and the tuner is really accurate. It picks up and recognizes much more than some of the other cheap tuners I've used. The bright display helps for when your playing on a dark stage or before a gig. Very nice if you have a daisy chain of powered pedals already.

Perfect tuner
This tuner is absolutely perfect. The 'output' jack is for silent tuning which helps when tuning between songs. The tuner itself has a lot of options (Chromatic, guitar, bass, etc.) and is very very accurate. it's strictly for electric guitars and basses but that's not a problem for me personally. Keeping in tradition with other Boss pedals it's very compact and durable with bright easy to read letters. It's a great tuner at a good price and has everything i need.

Tu-2 frikin awesome!
Just got mine today. Actually bought it off of GC's used section. I think it's brand new. This could possibly be the best piece of gear I have bought, the tuning is fast and very accurate, plus it powers your other gear. This thing rocks, if it ever gets stolen or anything, I would replace it quickly. It will be on my chain for years to come. Also these things are pretty dang tough, built like tanks, so dont worry about it hitting the ground.

The Best Tuner in the Market
This is first must have pedal. The led is faster to tune your strings in Bass, Guitar or another instrument that you can connect through a 1/4 plug. Do you need tune your instrument without signal to your amplifier? The TU-2 does. Awesome. Buy it now.
