Precise tuning with a tap of your toe.

The Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner lets you shift to bypass mode for silent tuning with a single stomp. An eleven-point LED stream meter makes it easy to see when you're in tune (the movement of the meter slows the closer you get to pitch). Seven different modes provide options for both bass and guitar and a seven-segment display makes string and note names readily visible on dark stages. Footswitchable Tuner Off mode preserves battery.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • A must-have for the gigging musician

As reviewed by coolwhip on 11/2/2006

This pedal has made its way onto thousands of pedal boards over the past few years, and not without reason. I purchased one of these after selling a Fender PT-100 that just didn't track well enough. I have never had a problem with accuracy with the TU-2, and I gig around the order of 3 times a week. This tuner has a variety of modes and different tuning styles, some more functional than others. Overall, you can't go wrong with this pedal. Though a little more pricey than others, it is built like a tank and will last for decades.

  • The Only Tuner You'll Ever Need

As reviewed by Tied For Last - Steve on 10/9/2006

I've had countless tuners, but this is the first pedal tuner I've owned, and I'll never buy another. I've used it for guitar and bass since 2002, and have never once had a problem with it. It seems obvious, but the ability to tune while still facing the audience, and without having to use your hands for the tuner itself is a revelation. If you've never done that before, you will be amazed at how much more professional you and your band will seem. Keep in mind - NO ONE in the audience wants to hear you tune. Nor do they want to look at your back while you fiddle with your equipment. The standby feature really helps as well, because it automatically cuts out the signal, so one person can tune while the others begin a song. This has come in quite handy for me on any number of occasions. One possible negative for some is that there is no condenser mic, so you cannot use it to tune an acoustic guitar without a pickup. This was not an issue for me, though. I only wish it was a little cheaper, but, that said, it is definitely worth the price for any gigging guitarist or bassist.

  • Great gig tuner!

As reviewed by Vindi on 10/5/2006

We use the Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner at church. Its the best tuner I have used. If you are in a band you have to have this tuner, or else your not sounding your best. The pedal style makes it a hands free unit. The bypass feature on it puts this tuner over the rest. It helps you get a quick tune in the middle of a set and saves your equitment from damaging popping when unplugging. This is a must have for anyband!
