I bought a BOSS 12H guitar tuner 12 years ago, it finally gave up the ghost last month & I am replacing it with the newest model of the exact same tuner. It absolutely always gave perfect tuning for electric or acoustic, would even tell you whether your voice was exact pitch; In fact we looked at an electronic keyboard to purchase, I checked it with my tuner & we did not buy it because it wasn't exact pitch. HINT: Buy the AC adapter, tuning is difficult w/ low battery.
I was having trouble tuning my 12 string down a full step with another tuner (very frustrating). It could not tune both G strings the same which made the guitar sound bad.. The Boss TU-12EX made easy work of it! Very percise and worth the extra money.........Thanks Boss
