Boss Loop Station - Worth Every Penny!

Out of all my guitars, amps, and effects, this is the best thing I've ever bought. This thing can not only allows you to record, overdub and layer guitars, basses, keyboards, drum machines and vocals, but it is also one of the best tools for developing skill on the guitar. I had trouble finding people with my similar music style to just hang out and jam - let alone I didn't want to hall my equipment all over the place - so I bought this pedal. I would record a riff or chord progression on the pedal, loop it and have the pedal play it back out of the amp. This allowed me to practice scales, rythym, and improvisation. I couldn't have improved my skill on the guitar as fast as I did using any other method. This is a Boss pedal, so you know it will last nearly forever, and the value of this pedal is priceless. If you were to spend your money on any musical item, I suggest it be this!

ONE MAN ROCK BAND

I bought this pedal in order to sample various guitar & bass parts. The tone produced by this pedal is top shop, and the basic functions are a breeze to operate. Stomp right to start recording, left to stop recording, and right again to playback or overdub. It's not rocket science just rock science! The Loop Station can hold up to 11 tracks at a time so storage really isn't an issue. And with the Boss name you know you're getting a road tested pedal. All and all a great pedal addition to any board!

No Band, No Problem

I bought this primarily for Songwriting. I wanted a way to play multiple guitar parts together without a second guitarist. This pedal does all of that and more! I pulled it out of the box and figured it out within minutes. You definately don't need to be an engineer to figure this one out. I was very pleased when the pedal didn't rob the tone or change the pitch. If you own a bass or drum machine, you can record an entire song on it. This is a pedal for anyone who suffers from writer's block, or just doesn't have enough hands. The one Fault I found is that batteries get rather expensive, so make sure to order the power adapter also.

Great looper

The Boss RC-20xl is a great looper. It has 16+ minutes of storage and 11 different loops with unlimited overdubbing. Very fun and very user friendly. All of the controls are pretty obvious, and after a little time they'll become second nature. As with most Boss products, the full extent of the RC-20xl's potential isn't especially obvious -- it has a slew of cool functions not listed on the chasis, but a quick flip through the manual will help. This pedal is great for solo playing, practice and writing, and I would definately recommend it for any budding, serious musician.

Good Loop Pedal

The Boss RC-20XL Loop Station is a great looping pedal. I cannot find another loop pedal that even compares to this. Its quite pricy but but worth every penny when wired to my Marshall Stack and 1952 Telecaster. The pedal does everything I need it to in corcert and small gigs. It's truely a great loop pedal.
