The PSA-120S adapter is a must have unless you have a room full of batteries ready to go. I bought this for my Boss ME-70 Multi-Effects unit and it has been a lifesaver.
No issues as far as heat goes and no problems with continuous power.
This unit is a space saver for those of us that need to use more than one input on an extension cord.
