This thing is PHAT!!!!!!

I was recently in GC and played with one of these thinking that the sales person was trying to sell me more than I needed. I wanted to build my own pedal board. After playing with it for 45 minutes I was sold. It had everything I needed and it was easy to use. You don't have to scroll for your sound like you do with some other multi-effect pedals. And by the time you do the math, you get Boss sounds combined in this thing for under $300. by the time you buy 4 single pedals you have already exceeded that. It's a great buy not because of the price but because of the sound. I will be purchasing one REAL soon.

Awesome Bass Pedal

This is a great bass pedal. I have hade it for several months now and my favorite effect is the octave down filter, which doubles your bass line and octave lower. It's great to have so many pedals in one system. The only problem I have is that the distortion gets too loud when you use it, which could prove a problem on stage. A great system though.

Boss ME-50B Bass Multiple Effects w/COSM

The features of the pedal are good and the Owner's manual is well structured and easy to understand. The downside is that BOSS did not include a 110V to 9 volt power supply wiht the pedal requiring the purchaser to expend energy purchasing this separately. The Manufacture should include the 110V to 9 V Power supply with the unit since it is not practical to even practice or perform on battery power alone. I purchased a 9V power supply from another manufacturer in protest of this marketing ploy by the manufacturer for only selling you a portion of the key components for a fully usable pedal from the start. The materials of construction are good.

Bass Processor

I haven't actually bought one yet,but a fellow Bassist I know has one.That prompted me to check one out at the nearest Guitar Center.It has ALL the effects and Pre Amp properties needed to Gig with.For the price-you can't go wrong considering what it would cost to buy all those Effect Pedals seperately.

Solid effects board

Just bought my ME-50B last week and I'm absolutely in love with it. Even if you aren't into all sorts of crazy effects, this is still an investment worth considering if only for the compressor and filter settings (compressor + defretter = amazingly smooth and rich clean tone). Throw on the chorus+delay setting and you've got the perfect tone for melodic solo bass work. My only complaint is the limited battery life (12 hours for 6 AA batteries), but everything else about the ME-50B is good in my book.
