Just bought my ME-50B last week and I'm absolutely in love with it. Even if you aren't into all sorts of crazy effects, this is still an investment worth considering if only for the compressor and filter settings (compressor + defretter = amazingly smooth and rich clean tone). Throw on the chorus+delay setting and you've got the perfect tone for melodic solo bass work. My only complaint is the limited battery life (12 hours for 6 AA batteries), but everything else about the ME-50B is good in my book.
I just got mine today and I am absolutely in love with it!. Synth selections are amazing and the Expression pedal tops the whole thing off. Unlike the ME-20B their are no dumb menus to go through just some knobs. I also was pleased by the chorus, delay, reverb, phaser, flanger, T. Wah, and the drive/distortion selections. Some flaws are some feed back on combinations of pedals and the lack of an included PSA adapter. Otherwise great all around product.
Very pleased with this unit, clean sounds and feels very durable.Only complaint is that u need and additional pedal to switch banks when you create you own patchs.
