A timeless classic reborn.

BOSS and Fender USA have collaborated to create the BOSS FRV-1 pedal, a stunning recreation of the legendary '63 Fender Reverb via COSM technology. The FRV-1 puts that timeless tube-driven reverb sound under your foot in a tough, reliable compact reverb pedal.

The Fender Spring Reverb is the sound that launched the surf-music phenomenon, and is a staple of rockabilly, country, and blues. Later, it became commonplace in grunge and other modern genres. Now the same legendary sound can be had in an affordable, rugged compact guitar effect pedal.

  • Buy this pedal

If you want a Surf tone and can't afford an outboard tank, then you want this pedal. Unlike other reverb pedals (ex: Cathedral) compression and overdrive sound good when combined with the FRV-1. Sounds cool when I turn my chorus pedal up to get a tremelo effect, they work nicely together. Excellent pedal overall.

  • BOSS FRV-1

I have tried different reverb pedals, in my opinion, this is by far (!) the BEST and most NATURAL sounding reverb pedal on the market! Great vintage feeling!! Very easy to use, it took me less than a minute to dial in the sound I like. I have never tried the original Fender '63 Reverb, however, this pedal sounds very warm and beautiful!!! I play a Road Worn 50s Strat through a Pro Junior, love the little amp, this pedal makes it shine even more.
