The bottom line in delay.
If you love delayed, spacy sounding music, you need to immediately click on the "buy now" button. I mean that, too.
This pedal basically has three main uses: straight up delay, fattening up your tone, and a loop. I'll tell you a bit about delay first. There's a few models on the delay, but I'll skip the formalities on those. The delay is straight up awesome. Not cheesy, nothing like that. The delay here is the real deal. There's enough delay time to please anybody on this thing. (up to 23 seconds) This pedal is suitable from Pink Floyd to U2, guaranteed.
You can also fatten up your tone a bit, almost to the point of reverb. To do this, just turn on any kind of delay and set it to be real low. (somewhere around 200 ms) This is very useful for rhythm, or even some leads.
Finally, the DD-20 has a nice feature that allows you to record a track of audio, and then loop it. This is nice for recording rhythm and soloing over it, or even double tracking guitar. Really, the possibilities on this pedal are endless.
So, to make a long review short, the DD-20 is definitely one of Boss's best product, if a tad expensive.

Great pedal or pedals?
Boss DD-20 Giga Delay. Sweet pedal, solid as a rock. Sounds great but not as good as the dl4 (by a small margin). If you are worried about the reliability issues of the DL4 then buy the DD-20... you won't regret it.

Sexy Delay
Yeah So I bought this pedal a while back and did not have much money and basically had to cut back on eating to buy this pedal. I know now I made a wise sacrifice. This pedal is such a sexy pedal. It will fatten up your tone a ton! It is a warmer sound than the DD5 or Line 6 and has more options the other Boss delays. It is definately stage friendly with its 4 preset capabilities. It gives you control over the sound to which is nice. I feel naked playing without it. I am looking into running another delay pedal through it to get some really insane Delay. Also the tap tempo in it is good but I am thinking abou using a FS-5U or a FS-5L through the external tap tempo because you have to wait a couple of seconds for the tap tempo on it so I will just run the optional foot control through it to be a bit faster on stage.
Overall Buy this pedal! You wont regret it!

The best yet
I have tried several delay pedals and none of them comes close to the Boss DD-20. You won't find a delay pedal out there that has the features and craftsmanship of this one. The possibilities are endless with this pedal. With 11 different delay modes and memory capability you owe it to yourself to check this pedal out.

Sounds like Tits
Haha. wow. Basicly, I own this so I can get the smoothest, cleanest, longest delays possible on my clean channel-to a little bit of delay for solos on my gain channel. This thing has so many different options, it's great. It's a great pedal to have in your rig also, because it isnt noisy and it doesnt hum. Another great Boss pedal!!!
