Very Versatile

This unit allows you to get the right amount of "shimmer" on the upper frequencies while not muddying up the lower frequencies. It can go from subtle sounding to very extreme and can be used with many types of music. I find it best used on fretless bass as well as a great tone for slow ballads.

Great filler!

The Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus can add some filler to your bass but it seems that this pedal can only seem to develop a few tones. I find this most useful for when my band plays 3 piece. We use it as filler. I used this with a Musicmaster Bass and a Acoustice 150 head. It does have a very strong sound to it though. Still one of the best Bass Chorus pedals you can buy!
