Great Pedal For Blues
This pedal is great for blues and classic rock hence the name Boss Blues Driver. This pedal works realy well for pushing an already overdriven amp off the edge or for boosting your amp as is. It gives a very good SRV tone and also many other artists that you can emulate. The pedal is also built like a tank, I doubt it will ever break from a heavy stomp or even a fall. So if you want a great pedal thats great for blues get the BOSS Blues Driver.

Right on the money.
In an ocean of pedals out there , this one is an oasis. Clean crackle or fuzzy smooth , this pedal does it . Walkin' the blues American or British Import style you got it right here . Just add your favorite "Wah" pedal and they go like milk and cookies.

Boss BD-2 Blues Driver - This is Boss' version of the Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer. I'd say Boss is pretty close to giving Ibanez a run for their money depending on the guitar you're using. For nailing that time-honored Strato / Tube Screamer sound, the BD-2 doesn't quite measure up. At lower settings the Strat / Blues Driver combo sounded very warm and tube-like but crunchier settings brought out a sterile transistorized sounding fizziness. Where the Blues Driver really holds its' own is when used with humbucker guitars like Gibson SGs, Les Pauls, or ES-335s. In the humbucking world, the BD-2 impressed us the most with a valvey, open sound and a capacity for wider tone and drive settings. If your looking for a mild overdrive that gives you that amazing tweed sound, this is a great stomper, just make sure your guitar is loaded with humbuckers.

Wish I bought this sooner.
Perfect tone and crunch for an overdrive pedal. Perfect for not just the blues but any other music you play. I prefer this pedal over any other overdrive pedals I've used in the past. Buy a Phase Shifter with it, there are a lot of fun things you can do. This is worth every penny.

Blues Driver
I had a Blues Driver pedal a few years ago... the only Boss distortion or OD pedal that I was actually very impressed with. The BD-2 has a great warm tone to it, works fine alone on the clean channel and just as good as an OD. Provides a nice fat tone when used with a tube amp. A friend of mine, who happens to be the current rhythm guitarist for an amazing musician (did somebody say Vai?), turned me onto a Keeley modded BD-2... you're search is truly over once you've tried the Keeley mod. Great pedal by Boss, and they last forever. I used to use an old Boss Super Overdrive that went through a lot, somehow even got burnt one night, still worked perfectly though.

Tube Screamer Classic look out!
When Boss came out with this pedal I was rather skeptical of its name. For starters when anyone talks about distortion/overdrive pedals, Boss usually doesnt come stumbling out of anyones mouth as a first, second or third choice.
This pedal changes that. Owning a Fender Twin, I have had the hardest time finding that happy medium to bring out a rougher tone from my Twin without sounding un-natural. This pedal does just that.
Level setting at 1/4,tone setting at 11:00 and the gain cranked all the way, and my amp volume at three with the treb, mid, bass set alittle past 7, this pedal made my rather pedestrian Twin sound very gutty indeed.
The kind of crunch and sustain I was only getting 2/3s of the way there with my Ibanez Tube Screamer Classic. Cant wait to use it at our next gig.

Most versatile pedal from Boss!!!
This is by far the best pedal in the Boss series! Just enough crunch without going overboard. Turn down the gain and rock the Blues!! Great value and a great addition to your rig. In reality this pedal and a wah and thats all you'll need.

Freakin' Amazing
This Pedal is completely versatile, good for any kind of music. However if you are looking for a heavy metal distortion pedal this is not it, but it's good for blues or Progressive, Gospel, anything.Perfect amounts of tone and just enough ditortion to get your point across. Excellent for the price, a must have in your chain of pedals.

Blues-o-matic
This pedal is amazing i got it like about a year ago & i just can say wow! I'm a blues-rock fan & this pedal gives me my tone,
It works perfectly with my roland cube 30 amp on all its channels. I've heard it works greatly with a tube amp. It generates some unwanted hum when on; (maybe its because of my yamaha stock pickups)? But regardless it is great solid made, high quality boss made great pedal.
