I always wanted to get a pedal board for the ease of use and neatness as oppossed to my usual cluttered lineup of 6" cables and AC cords. This pedal board solved all of that. Just one AC cable in to the board with your guitar in and out to amp, and boom ready to go. When you are done clip the top back on and go on your way. I do use mostly boss with some MXR mixed in but they all fit fine and you can customize the foam if need be. I do not recommed putting a wah in although it is possible. Because it supplies it's own power and comes with the pedal cables and gives the option for stereo outputs and packs up neatly makes me wonder why I didn't buy this sooner.
This pedal board is great. Organize and plug your pedals in one time and you're done! There is but ONE change I would like to see Boss incorporate into the BCB-60. We ALL hate wall warts. I would like to see Boss hardwire the wall wart into the small top left compartment, encapsulate it, then add an on/off switch. It's not huge deal but if you forget to unplug the adaptor before pulling the sound output cable you get a very loud, every head in the house turnng pop that is most annoying and might even damage something. However, don't let this disuade you from buying this unit because it completely eliminates the giant cable jungle that happens without it. The time saved in set-up and tare down is worth it's weight after-gig solid gold White Castle burgers!
I had the smaller 3 pedal board first. It was great but I outgrew it. I bought this pedal board and I really like it. It is great the way you can keep all of the cords put away and still keep them hooked up. It makes it much faster when preparing for playing.
