Bose PA package with dual speaker arrays and dual B2 bass modules.
This L1 Model II Single System/Bass Package includes two Bose L1 Model II Cylindrical Radiator Speakers, and two Bose B2 bass modules. Like the original, award-winning Bose L1 system, the Model II sound system is an all-in-one innovation that replaces conventional monitors, mixers and PA speakers. And this professional sound system is packed with proprietary Bose technologies designed to improve your amplified sound. The system's breakthrough loudspeaker produces wide, uniform sound coverage of nearly 180 degrees—onstage and throughout an audience of up to several hundred—with little drop-off in volume and tone.
The Model II system also features Articulated Array speaker technology for better tonal balance. The loudspeaker's 24 vertically mounted drivers are precisely angled to create clearer highs and more consistent tone in the room. Even people off to the sides of these stage speakers enjoy well-balanced, detailed sound.
In contrast to a conventional setup, an L1 system lets you, your fellow musicians and the audience hear the same sound. You don't need any other stage monitors, mixers or PA speakers. Your Bose L1 system replaces them all with one sleek, powerful setup that includes built-in amplifiers, a four-channel mixer and ToneMatch® presets.
The L1 Model I Cylindrical Radiator Speaker is an integral component of the from Bose L1 Model I system. The unique Cylindrical Radiator loudspeaker comes in two sections and has a line array of 24 small drivers mounted into a vertical speaker enclosure for wide, horizontal sound coverage. This proprietary design helps fill the room with clear sound like no ordinary speaker can. In comparison to a conventional audio speaker, volume and tone diminish very slowly over distance.
The loudspeaker's wedge-shaped dispersion pattern sends little sound to the floors, upper walls and ceilings, minimizing room reverberation and increasing clarity. In contrast to a conventional setup, the Bose L1 system lets you, your fellow musicians and the audience hear the same sound. You don't need any other stage monitors, mixers or PA speakers. The L1 system replaces them all with one sleek, powerful setup.
The L1 Cylindrical Radiator loudspeaker features a two-piece, interlocking design for quick and easy transport, setup and breakdown. Each section of loudspeaker is 43 1/2" (1.1 m) high. It includes an interlocking bayonet with center and bottom latches. The L1 Model II power stand weighs only 24 pounds, and its four retractable legs make it very easy to transport and set up. The power stand also has a simplified control section; the single line-level input can be used with instruments, mics, mixers, laptops, MP3 players or DVD systems.
All of the system's components are also built to handle the road. The loudspeaker has a rugged, reinforced grille, and each package includes padded carrying bags for major components. Spatial Dispersion and Articulated Array speaker technologies in the loudspeaker produce wide, uniform sound coverage. The 24 small drivers are arranged using Articulated Array speaker technology in a slim, vertical enclosure—creating nearly 180 degrees of horizontal coverage and consistent tonal balance. The loudspeaker's two-piece, interlocking design makes for quick and easy setup, breakdown and transport.
Integrated power amplifiers in the power stand provide clean, precise amplification for L1 Model II system with up to two B1 or B2 bass modules. Analog input, trim control and signal/clip LED for line-level analog input via ¼" TRS phone cable. Can be used for instruments or other audio sources like DJ mixers, MP3 players, computers or DVD systems.

B2 bass module:
The BOSE B2 bass module is a high performance flexible bass solution designed for L1 Model 1S and Model II systems. It features two 10” high-excursion woofers mounted into a rugged enclosure.
For additional flexibility, the B2 includes a rear panel switch that allows for higher or lower bass levels to be selected based on application or personal preference. Proprietary BOSE technology in the L1 systems automatically senses the switch position of the B2 and provides the proper equalization and power. Interlocking end caps allow up to two B2 modules to be stacked together. Includes protective slip cover and NL4 cable.
Applications include educational and business uses, such as announcements, presentations and training demonstrations for up to 300 people. It is also useful in portable applications within houses of worship, sporting events and many other instances where a PA and bass are required.
The B2 bass module is also ideal for musicians and DJs that require higher bass output and impact. Both will benefit from the flexibility of the three-position sensing switch. Simply switch to “+” for the maximum bass output. Full bands will appreciate the B2 module’s higher output, which provides additional bass for kick drums and bass guitars.
