This L1 Model IS Package includes two BOSE L1 Model IS Cylindrical Radiator speakers, and two BOSE B2 bass modules. It additionally features the Tonematch mixer and processor, a powerful front end that is perfectly matched to the system. It is a powerful PA, ideal for bands, DJs, and worship or business presenters. The extra bass module gives the system great low end presence and the second Cylindrical Radiator makes for excellent clarity, intelligibility and coverage.

It is engineered with an articulated line array to deliver 180-degreecoverage for audiences of up to 300. This12-speaker line array produces consistent tonal balancethroughout the venue with less drop-off in SPL over distance than conventional loudspeakers. Itconsists of only four lightweight pieces, so it’s easy to carry and sets up and breaks down inminutes. The materials are specifically constructed to meet the travel and performance demandsof solo musicians, mobile DJs, bands and general PA applications. The L1 Model 1S system can beconfigured to a performer’s preference with the B1 bass module for greater portability, or the B2 bass module for greater output. In addition, the integrated ToneMatch® port provides a singlecable digital connection to the optional ToneMatch audio engine, which maintains the tone ofspecific instruments and microphones. The Bose B1 Bass Module works seamlessly with the L1 Model I PA System to deliver the low-frequency impact you want through 2 high-output, high-excursion 6-1/2" drivers. It produces deep, strong bass for keyboards, kick drum, bass guitar, and other instruments that play in the baritone/bass range. Light and compact, strong bass is yours without the bulk and weight of traditional subwoofers. Connects to the power stand with a single cable.
The BOSE® B2 bass module is a high performance flexible bass solution designed for L1 Model 1S and Model II systems. It features two 10” high-excursion woofers mounted into a rugged enclosure.
For additional flexibility, the B2 includes a rear panel switch that allows for higher or lower bass levels to be selected based on application or personal preference. Proprietary BOSE technology in the L1 systems automatically senses the switch position of the B2 and provides the proper equalization and power. Interlocking end caps allow up to two B2 modules to be stacked together. Includes protective slip cover and NL4 cable.
Applications include educational and business uses, such as announcements, presentations and training demonstrations for up to 300 people. It is also useful in portable applications within houses of worship, sporting events and many other instances where a PA and bass are required.
The B2 bass module is also ideal for musicians and DJs that require higher bass output and impact. Both will benefit from the flexibility of the three-position sensing switch. Simply switch to “+” for the maximum bass output. Full bands will appreciate the B2 module’s higher output, which provides additional bass for kick drums and bass guitars.

The Bose ToneMatch audio engine is designed to enrich the sound of musicians using any L1 system. Its powerful features and tone-shaping tools quickly bring you closer to the true sound of your voice and instruments. This versatile audio engine helps you sound your best in live performances. It expands the input capacity of your L1 system and gives you instant access to a host of proprietary EQ presets, standard effects and processors.
The ToneMatch audio engine puts Bose's largest library of customized presets at your command. These presets instantly adjust your system to match the intended natural sound of popular instruments and microphones. So you reproduce factory-specified tonal balance—precisely and at the touch of a button.
Different presets can be independently assigned to the engine's four channels. For example, select Audix OM5 mic presets for channels 1 and 2, Taylor guitar for channel 3 and Lakland bass for channel 4—all at the same time. Bose engineers continually work with manufacturers to expand the ToneMatch preset library. Updates are available to you free, with easy downloading via the engine's USB port.
