In 2001 Bogner launched the Uberschall amplifier. More than a decade later, Bogner still hand builds each one in Los Angeles, California. Dubbed "Armageddon in a Box," the ferocious Uberschall pedal derives its thunderous hi-gain tones from the notoriously brutal Bogner Uberschall amplifier. While the Uberschall pedal offers a significant range of classic lower and medium gains, its true nature comes forth when delivering savage, face-melting, high-gain aggression.
Reinhold designed the Uberschall pedal with five discrete Class A gain stages and with diode clipping, mirroring circuitry of the Uberschall amplifier's high-gain channel. This revolutionary approach provides clarity, touch sensitivity and note separation never before achieved in distortion pedals.
The Uberschall pedal is powered by a standard 9V battery or 9V power supply. Reinhold's advanced circuitry internally elevates the voltage a substantially higher level. This higher voltage provides a greater dynamic range which closely resembles the feel of the Uberschall amplifier's legendary tube design.

I got my uberschall pedal a couple of weeks ago and I have been loving it ever since. The clarity and punch is incredible, and that legendary bogner tone is even more than i hoped for. It has the smoothest distortions i've ever played through, but with incredible presence. I have never had tone this good before. The versatility is unmatched by anything i've ever played before. There is so much bounce and flexibility to it. This is one of the best investments i have made for my musical hobby. With this pedal, it has been wildly unnecessary for me to have a massive collection of different overdrive and distortion pedals present on my board (no need for a tubescreamer now). The uberschall does it all very well. I get clean crunches to wall of sound gains with very usable EQ, which makes a sound guy's life much easier. I play through an Egnater Rebel 30 tube head with a Les Paul and a Telecaster. I play a range of music from rock n' roll, alternative indie, and hard rock. This pedal delivers everytime. It is a must have.
Between the drive channel on my Bogner Shiva amp, and the overdrive pedals I have on my board, I've got a lot of different overdrive options for doing anything from blues to hard rock from the 60's, 70's and 80's. What I lacked was a single pedal that could take my distortion to 11, in order to get that more modern sound. Sure, I could step on different combinations of drive channel and overdrive pedals to get closer, but it's too much hopping around. This pedal fits the bill perfectly. I was concerned that it might sound a bit harsh with that much gain on tap, but it doesn't at all. The distortion is fantastic. and the built-in boost works great to give that extra push for solos. It's got a full tone stack so you can sculpt it to meet your needs. If you want that huge bottom-end, it's there. If you want that scooped mid range, it's there. If you want blistering top end, it's there. This is one of the best pedal decisions I've made. Fantastic pedal!!!
