Rugged and uniquely constructed, and ideal in both stage and studio settings.

The Blue enCORE 300 Condenser Vocal Performance Microphone has with its roots in Blue's legendary tuned condenser studio microphones. The enCORE 300 mic's Aria Condenser Capsule is hand-selected and tuned for open, detailed, and present sound that is as well-suited to the stage as it is to the studio. Blue's engineers matched the enCORE 300 mic capsule to a custom-designed phantom power circuit. Together they provide a rapid and powerful sound that is an ideal match for powerful vocals. The enCORE 300 microphone's unique reinforced chassis design mounts the capsule for optimal performance. The result is isolation from handling noise and vault-like protection.

As reviewed by John on 5/23/2011

When my Beta 87A died (a little over one year old) a week before I had two important shows - I began a search for a new brand. I was happy with the 87A - but a new mic every year seemed excessive. I ended up at the local GC and tested a slew of offerings at various price points through their Bose L1 Model II and a Bose T1 ToneEngine (my solo and cover band rig). Nothing blew serious wind up my skirt on the dynamic side except for a Sennheiser 938. When I A/B'd it vs the 87A - I decided that I was a condenser guy - and stopped looking at dynamics. Unfortunately - there was no enCore 300 in the store. I had tested the enCore 100 and was extremely impressed with how it sounded for the money - so I resolved to research the 300 a little more before pulling the trigger. I saw now negative reviews anywhere - so the following day I ordered a 300 from GC and took delivery two days later. I had one rehearsal to get ready - then two gigs - two days later. By the end of the second gig - I had really bonded with the 300. This is a very hot mic and it is easy to do a proper gain staging with the T1. I had an insane amount of headroom to work with and even on a tight stage - no problems with feedback. I like it so much that I am not going to bother getting the 87A repaired ($67 from shure - plus shipping both ways). Instead I will pick up another Blue enCore 300 while the sale is still going on.
