  • The Blue Snowball USB mic

As reviewed by Phil on 7/27/2009

I just purchased this mic. I hooked it up and was immediately impressed. I'm running it into my MacBook Pro and using Logic 8. It sounds incredible! You will not get a better mic for this price, it is well worth it. I would have paid more for this mic. I've used it for micing my guitar amp, my acoustic guitar and my voice. It sounds great for vocals wether you are singing or doing spoken word. If you're a musician or voice-over artist looking for a cheap yet reliable microphone, I would highly recommend this.

  • Blue Snowball

As reviewed by CMC on 8/15/2011

For the price, this microphone is awesome. It is a USB condenser mic, so there is no need for an interface; Just plug in and rock out! This microphone does really well with vocals, but, like all other condensers, it's pretty touchy and does need a pop filter. With amps and cabs, this microphone also rocks. As long as you know how to position a mic on an amp cab, then you'll get some great tones out of it. However, with acoustic guitar, I've found that this mic doesn't pick up all the fine detail that it needs to in order to get a rich, full tone. Still an awesome microphone, especially for the price. I say get one, just to have one.

  • AMAZING MIC!

As reviewed by Kayvon Malek on 8/21/2009

This mic is EXCELLENT. It's easy to use and because it's a USB mic, it doesn't require an audio interface. I've had this mic for about two days now, and I can't stop recording it's so great. You can even use this mic for instruments. It can handle my metal high gain electric guitar stuff with ease. First time I've ever walked out of guitar center and had a product go beyond my expectations.
