Easily expandable to a 5.1 monitor system with the MediaDesk 5.1 upgrade, MediaDesk 2.1 incorporates two ultracompact, 2-way satellite speakers, each featuring a high-quality 4" driver and a 1" tweeter, along with a dedicated 8" powered subwoofer and Bass Management System.

MediaDesk speakers can be easily upgraded to a space-efficient 5.1 multi-speaker system with the 5.1 Upgrade, which includes three more satellites, the amplifier/control module, and the 5.1 Remote.

Amazing SOUND!

These speakers are extremely well balanced! Because of the subwoofer...the speakers can focus on the high end without letting the deep bass compromise the tone! Very good all around speakers! If you want...turn the sub down and you have a perfect acoustic setup; if rap or R&B is your game, then turn the sub up and it will really hit hard! Overall for the money an extremely worth it investment for recording or for playback speakers!
