Overview

Thought your guitar tone couldn't sound any better? Just plug in this extension cabinet from Blackstar's HT Venue series and prepare for face-melting guitar tone. The incredible extended power and projection pushes your 6-string sound into the realm of monstrous tone.

The secret lies in its design, which uses a 12" Celestion speaker, along with 16 Ohm impedance and 80 watt power allowance, all in a rugged open-back Blackstar cabinet structure.

The Blackstar HTV-112 guitar speaker cabinet has been voiced to work with the HT Venue amplifiers, as well as a wide range of other products. All Blackstar speaker cabs have finger-locked (comb) joints, heavy-duty wiring, and a cool vintage styling so you sound good and look good in the process.

Comments about Blackstar Venue Series HTV-112 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

This cab has a Celestion 70/80 in it and its a great speaker, even if a little bassy (which I like). I bought two cabs and swapped one speaker for an Eminence Texas Heat to add more clarity and depth to the tone. In fact, I always use two different speakers in my 2x12, 4x12, or duel 1x12 cabs. Two different speaker "personalities" make your tone sound huge.

Blackstar Venue Series HTV-112 Guitar Cabinet

    By Chris

Comments about Blackstar Venue Series HTV-112 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I have a Blackstar HT Club 40 that I matched up with this cabinet and the sound quality has been greatly increased. The small stack looks great on stage and there is no longer the need for a guitar amp stand. I know some players don't care for the Celestion 70/80 speakers, but I have to tell you they sound great in this amp and cabinet. Like Blackstar states, they have been matched for their amps. The construction of the cabinet is top notch with the tight tolex and steel corners. If your looking for the perfect portable small stack, this is it. I can even cover larger outside gigs by miking this unit with a Shure SM-57 or Audix i5. I think if you give this set up a try, you'll be very pleased with the results.

Good Cab, not so good speaker

    By Mark

    from St. Peters, MO

Comments about Blackstar Venue Series HTV-112 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

First off, I bought this to use with an HT-5, because I wanted a 12" rather than a 10" speaker. The cabinet is really well made, but I think it is the same size as the 2x12 cabinet, it is really large and heavy. Second, the speaker is a Celestion 70/80-some people love it, some hate it. I personally don't really like it, I think they could have made this cab a little higher in price and put a better speaker in it, like the Vox or Egnater cabs in this range that have Greenbacks and such in them, but I guess it was the price point they wanted. I replaced the speaker with an Eminence Texas heat, and it sounds a lot better to me with the HT-5, it really tightens up the loose overdrive channel. But then again, I now have 270 in this cab, and I think there are other options just as good or better for the money. I would definetly try this out with the head you want to use it with before you buy....

Comments about Blackstar Venue Series HTV-112 80W 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

They deliver a great tone for the price. I'm talking like boutique good! These speakers are great for anyone either starting out or an experienced player. They're great for everything from warming up before a show to home recording! I'd easily put Blackstar up there with Marshall, Vox, or any other leading amp!
