Blackstar Artisan Series 30 30W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp (481683)
Availability:

Hand crafted tone.

There is something undoubtedly magical in the sonic qualities of the 30W EL84 power stage driving a pair of classic British speakers. The Blackstar Artisan 30
guitar amp takes the tone and carefully distills it, taking it to a new level of tonal purity. One channel is built around an EF86 with a 5-way Bass Shape switch and the other an ECC83 with the addition of a Voice control for extra tonal flexibility. The Master Volume delivers the pure, natural crunch that you would expect from an amp of this quality.

The Artisan Series of hand wired amplifiers represents the absolute highest standard of craftsmanship and boutique tone. With the emphasis on simplicity and sonic purity, every feature on these guitar amplifiers has been refined to provide the musician with the widest range of reference vintage tones. Point-to-point tag board construction, welded steel chassis and finger jointed birch-ply cabinets are complemented by beautiful vintage red Tolex and etched aluminum panels.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • Bad to the Bone Tone!

As reviewed by Doc on 4/23/2009

I've been playing Guitar for thirty plus years and I've never come across an Amplifier that didn't need some sort of help...You know, a pedal in the Front end to drive the Pre-Amp Stage. The Blackstar Artisan 30 has a Unique Bass Shaping 5-Way Rotary Control Dial in Channel 1 and a Killer Voice Control in Channel 2. The Tone available from these 2 unique channels is anything you want it to be really. I'd say you have about 4 Amps in one...Tweed, Blackface, Plexi, and Clean Twin. Just simply Great...all you need is the guitar and a good Cord and your there...just stand back and play "The Music in your Head"

  • The new King of tone!!

As reviewed by Randy on 1/15/2010

In a word, remarkable. Although you would assume that ex-Marshall engineers would gravitate toward high-gain designs, the A30 is not a metalhead's amp at all. It is all about tone. And lots of it. I've had the good fortune to own most of the highly-revered amps - Tweeds of all sizes, Blackface Fenders, Plexis, Vox, Hiwatt, Orange, Bogner, Dr. Z, Mesa, Matchless.... everything. This may be the best sounding amp I've ever used. The mark of a good amp to me is if clean notes swell and bloom as they sustain instead of simply fading out. This amp does. There isn't a bad tone anywhere in this thing - every setting has great articulation and character, and it is built better then vintage American amps - the only comparable amp I've seen are old Hiwatt tag board handwired amps. Unbelievable blues/rock amp, reasonable price for boutique quality, tone for days. My search for THE perfect amp may be over....

  • If you like REAL guitar tones...

As reviewed by donkey on 6/12/2010

When trying this amp at low volumes(and by that I mean at 2-4) it's OK, but as soon as I turned it up this BEAST WOKE UP! I tested it out on my own tele and it made my axe sound like I wanted it to in my head. This is by far the best amp I have ever owned. This SOB is lowd! even at 10w, but all the dynamics are there so much so that I don't even use an OD pedal at times, it all comes out clear as a bell.
