The G and D string kept a slippin and a sliding out of the locking tuner. When I did finally get them to hold the D string snapped at the tuning peg after the first bend. I replaced it with an Ernie Ball D string which of course worked as it should. However, the G string would not stay in tune and had to be replaced. All the black diamond strings were replaced after a few hours of rehearsal. In my opinion, these are not good strings.
I've been using Ernie Ball Regular Slinks since I was playing and they always met my expectation and I ordered thee because of the color and I got them today and I put them on. I played Sweet Child and once I was done with the solo a lot of the black started to get scratched off from the G and mainly the B string, that was just one song, I cant imagine what would happen if I played it for hours. Overall I would not get the strings again, Ernie Ball Regular Slinks last for a month or 2 and they are the most reliable stings I have ever played. Only good thing about these strings are the tone it give the guitar, the black makes it a lot heavier.
