NEW REVIEW - Ultimate Studio Headphones
I needed a pair of comfortable, closed-back headphones that sound great and don't bleed into vocal and acoustic guitar mic's (I use a U 87 which is very sensitive). The DT 770 Pro's fill the bill. The detail and depth of the sonic image is excellent and the low-end is tight and punchy. I wear them for hours with no head-squash.

Accurate Sound, Easy Listening
The Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro is the most comfortable and accurate headphones in their pricerange, or even a little above. These headphones will not kill your head during tracking or extended listening sessions. They are extremelely accurate, making them great for listening to your favorite music, and getting the best mixes from your recordings. If you are passionate about music, then use headphones that are just as wonderful as the music coming through them.

Fantastic...
These headphones have superb imaging, and an unprecedented frequency response. Great isolation, comfort, and accuracy make these a must-have for serious project studios. You will hear things that you have not hear before, trust me! Big ups to Chris at the Knoxville GC for turning me on to these headphones!

DT 770 Pro-80 --For bassheads
I've had these headphones for 3 months now. As I was coming from a low-end setup, the dt770/80 blew me away. Their extra clarity is amazing; the soundstage--something cheap headphones completely lack--add an extra dimension to music; and their elevated bass response makes these cans premier for gaming. Its last attribute, however, makes it strictly for bassheads if one has critical ears, as bassheavy music will sound, well, a bit TOO bassheavy. Overall, however, the dt770 Pro-80 is an excellent can and well worth the money I paid for it. Oh, and I can drop this headphone on my hard tile floor with no worries: they're just built...OhhhHhHHH like a rockkkkkk.

Really comfortable headphones
The highlight of these headphones are their fabric lining around the phone pads. The comfortable fabric is a refreshing alternative to the usual vinyl headphone lining which can get sticky and isn't breathable. Also these headphones are pretty easy to adjust to fit, and stay very secure.
From a sound perspective, the frequency response is very accurate. There doesn't seem to be any hyped reproduction of the lows, mids, or highs. The only thing that one could be concerned about is that these headphones are not as loud as some others on the market. So, in a live situation, such as DJ'ing, the DT 770's may not have the output necessary to hear over a live PA system.

Best headphones ever!
The Beyerdynamic dt770 headphones are definitely the clearest sounding headphones I have ever used. They have great bass responce and deliver the same quality as high-end studio monitors. I highly recomend these headphones for anyone looking for 'perfect clarity'.

I Love These Headphones
My brother got me in to these Beyerdynamic DT770s a little while ago, and I'm glad he did. It has a great clarity that really makes it easy to do headphone mixes with. It's also closed back, so it's great for the do-it-all tracker for when you need to do some acoustic recording with no bleed. The earpads are super comfortable, and I really have nothing bad to say about them at all.

I'm an Engineer
Most FUN you can have with a headphone. I have critical ears and perfect pitch, let me tell you, you will not find a better sounding punchy bass headphone. I listen at low volumes. Bass WITHOUT losing midrange and highs. I'm purchasing my 3rd pair. All still working great over 2 hard years of everyday use.

These Cans Can Be Yours...And They Should!
I purchased these headphone after comparing them to the AKG 240s cans. Their response range was greater and recommended over the AKG set by several people. After extensive research I decided to purchase the Beyerdynamics. They are AMAZING headphones! Their clarity is pristine and allows the user to hear much more detail. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear as well. Since I do not own a set of studio monitors I need to strongly rely on a great set of headphones. My first mix on these cans hugely improved the overall sound of my mixes. I let the artists use these as well when they are recording in my studio and they immediately noticed the difference with these cans. Everything is better with these Beyedynamics!!! I have yet to listen to commercial music through it but I cannot imagine that they wouldn't dominate in that arena as well.

Maybe too good for some jobs
I got a pair of DT770s, and I was hearing things I never heard before. They were Excellent. Then I started in a new (lower end) studio and I was picking so little sounds, it was distracting to me but no one else in the studio could hear it, they are that sharp. Also if you wear them for more than 2 hours in a shot they can get a little warm, but overall an amazing pair of cans.
