Overview

The Behringer XENYX 1202 mixing console has 12 inputs and an FX send control for each channel. Additionally, assignable CD/tape inputs have been incorporated for routing flexibility. The XENYX Mic Preamp approaches the sound quality, transparency, headroom, and even the dynamic range of boutique-style, standalone mic preamps. Behringer's neo-classic "British EQ" brings back the warmth and musicality of those '60s and '70s mega-console desks that made music history.

Features
  • Premium ultra low-noise, high headroom analog mixer
  • 4 state-of-the-art XENYX Mic Preamps comparable to standalone boutique preamps
  • Neo-classic "British" 3-band EQs for warm and musical sound
  • 1 post fader FX send per channel for external FX devices
  • Main mix outputs plus separate control room, phones and stereo CD/tape outputs
  • CD/tape inputs assignable to main mix or control room/phones outputs
  • FX to control room function helps to monitor effect signal via headphones and control room outputs
  • Long-wearing 60-mm logarithmic-taper master fader and sealed rotary controls

Dont let this offer pass!!!

By Phil Wampler

from Lubbock, Texas

Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202:

All I can say is wow. When I ordered it I wasn't expecting much, but boy was I wrong. This item is perfect for the home studio that you want to get started. No it doesn't have your nice features such as 4 different effect inputs, but why would I expect that. DO NOT let this one slip by you if you want a cheap and good quality mixer.

Sounds good

By Good Time Entertainment

from Middletown, CT

Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202:

I liked this mixer for it's small size. And I was very happy with it's sound quality. However after 1 month of use the power supply fried, right in the middle of a party, kind of embarrassing. I am going to try the next model up though because the sound was much better than the Tapco I bought to replace it.

great mixer

By brrendan merhab

from hahaha st.

Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202:

I bought a Xenyx 1202 while back cause I needed an extra mixer for practice and submixing prior to going into my PC. I really was suprised at how quiet the pre's were on here and it has turned out to be a rather good little mixer for just about anything I need it for. No it won't replace my expensive vocal rack gear, so I haven't tried running a mic through it, but for the price you can't go wrong with this one, it's another amazing Behringer deal where you'd easily pay twice the price for something similar from another manufacturer.

Spend the extra money for a Yamaha or Mackie

By LS

from Denver, CO

Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202:

I've had two of the mixers in 3 weeks. The first one failed on the first night I had it. One of the main outs wouldn't work, and the master fader was making horrible noises every time I adjusted the volume. I took it back the next day and got another one. The second one didn't have any of the problems that the first one did. However, for whatever reason, this mixer REALLY likes midrange. I had to cut the mids and lows on everything, and completely cut them out on vocals. There is no "on and off" switch...which is rediculous, the LED power light is BLINDING when you're in a dark venue, and the preamps are pathetic. I understand that this is an inexpensive mixer, and it may work for some people, but if you're looking for something that's going to sound and function at a professional level...spend the extra $$$ on a Yamaha or Mackie in the same class.

By shelby molina

Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202:

Iۡm the drummer for my band and we needed to find a way so I can be able to hear the vocals, the guitar, and the bass and this tiny but mighty mixer was the solution. Works very good and its very portable, fits anywhere. Worth it!! Affordable price for a great mixer.

Power Supply Problems

By Dave Hoffman

from Cave Creek, AZ

Comments about Behringer Xenyx 1202:

This is a great little board but like others have said here, the power supply is a problem. I use it as a sub-board for the drum mix and subwoofer feed and the P/S just doesn't stand up to "gig wear and tear". Handle with care!
