Alazan

By Alazan

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

This is truly the best mixer you can buy for this price. I recently started working with Behringer mixers after having spent heavy $$$ on Mackie mixers. I don't regret it at all. I bought two of these, one for the studio and one as a back-up. The one thing that could make this mixer a whole lot better is the built in EQ that other Behringer mixers have.

GREAT

By Eric Z

from NYC

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

This is a great piece of equipment that i've been using for 10 years. I use this to connect all my DJ equipment including microphones and live setups for freestlye EMCEE's. This has never let me down, and its always been reliable. Sound quality is great, and it will never break on you because of its ruggued steel case. I think i'll be using this mixer for a while.

Perfect for Small Recording Studio

By Wendy Dove

from Central Texas

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

Bought this for small home studio. The adapter that comes with this allows for easy hook up to daw software. The quality of my recordings has improved 100%. Live sound? Smooths roughs edges nicely. Recording and live sound at the same time is an added bonus. The pre-amps and built in interface takes away the need to purchase extensive equipment or a multi-track recorder. I highly encourage those who are in the market to pick this one. You won't regret it!

Amazingly Quiet

By Karaoke Drew

from Woodbridge, VA

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

Purchased this mixer in a bind when the left output channel on my old behringer eurorack ub1622fx-pro stopped working. needed it that night or i would not have bought a behringer. After using it I was amazed at the difference there was no mixer hiss like i had with my old behringer and the main inserts are great. I would recomend this to anyone who needs a medium sized mixer at a great price.

Great Mixer !

By Mark

from Spokane, Wa.

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

I've owned & used the mixer for about a year now, it works great for live gigs and recording ! Even both at the same time using: Motu - Ultra Lite MK3 Firewire works great, 8 channels simultaneously with my Laptop using an Express card for (6 pin firewire, more reliable than 4 pin) Lots of options with this Mixer ! I've even hooked up an other mixer to it to gain more inputs ! I did this to mic a drum set 4 mics, into one of the 8 channels for recording. Leaving the other seven recording inputs for Instruments and Mics ! Got a really nice recording, and had enough inputs for everybody !

Behringer XENYX 2442FX - Nice, Clean, Dependable

By Chris Coggins

from Austin, TX

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

We use a Behringer XENYX 2442FX at least once a week and it is easy to use, has some nice features, has a clean sound, and is well built. I have always been a Mackie guy, and to be honest I would buy a Mackie over Behringer if money were no object, but this Behringer board is half the price of a comparable Mackie board.

GREAT BUY!!!

By jmac_drumkid

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

I just bought this mixer two days ago and i tested it right away. You could tell that this is no ordinary mixer. It has crystal clear sound and the built-in effects is amazing. I had a friend with a mixer more expensive than this one and he had a separate effects processor. But the Xenyx 2442fx sounded a lot better. And got it at an amazing price...

Trust me...

By max

from Picayune, ms

Comments about Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer:

Ok so here is the real deal... I've had the mixer for about a year... The EQ is good... has everything you need and can really bring some to life is used correctly... The options for diffrent sub groups is great. and the amount of channels is also nice... Be warned though... this mixer can really sound cold at times... Then there is the fact that the adapter you are given only gives two mono channels in... meaning that yo'd better get the mix right becouse you can't contral it after that... I love mine... but if I had a few more dollors to spend Id go with a Motu product as the firewire would give you more option in the mixing step of recording... live this thing is would class... and studio it's just so-so becouse of the limits of the adapter... I guess if you had all the money in the world you could just buy a motu and hook the 2442 up to it with the channel out...
