amazing quality

By Justin Bullerdick

from Hunington beach, ca

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1222FX Mixer:

I was a little scared to buy this mixer at first because of the price and how other recording systems are so much more money. But when i first recorded something with this mixer i was so amazed. But before i did use line in on the computer witch is horrible quality. But the USB recording port makes a huge difference. it works perfectly if your a band starting out looking for some good quality home recordings. Defiantly recommend this mixer for a good all around useful mixer.

Nice mixer

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1222FX Mixer:

So far, seems like a nice board for the price. The built-in effects sound good. A lot of signal routing options for a small board.

Great Effects

By Steve Saive

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1222FX Mixer:

I wanted to get the new Mackie Pro fx mixer but was on back order. I chose the Behringer 1222 FX as it was available. I am thrilled with it so far. The effects are excellent and the sound is crisp and clear. I DJ and perform trumpet live with background tracks. I am happy with the sound of my vocals, trumpet, and CDs. I would recommend this system. The voice cancellor is pretty decent as well depending upon the recordings being utilized. ...5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!

Xenyx 1222FX ~ Awesome!

By Steve Brown

from Bloomfield, CT

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1222FX Mixer:

This mixer is a superb product ~ on any level! This model 1222FX has sooooo many features, it is hard to imagine how it could be sold for so little; flexibility, signal to noise ratio, and overall feel of controls make this model second to none ~ irrespective of price; I use this unit in my home office and I am telling you, it is awesome! While there are simular units out there from other manufacturers, you would be hard pressed to find one that can perform the way this one does ~ for the price; do not fall into the trap I almost fell into, thinking the price is so low, in addition to rumors of how other more expensive boards are so much better; give this model a try and you will easily forget about the rumors and the more expensive units .. trust me, this is an awesome product on any level! You will not be disappointed ....

Does the Job

By Boogie Beau

from Toledo, Ohio

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1222FX Mixer:

Using the Behringer XENYX 1222FX I was able to combined all my outputs and inputs in my little home studio practice room. I connected my two keyboards to the stereo input channels and also connected my microphone and used the CD/Tape input output jacks to connect to the supplied USB converter which is connected to my computer where I use Sound Forge Audio Studio to capture. The monitor out channel on the 1222FX I hooked my small practice amp a Roland KC-60. The CD/Tape input output channel whichs connects to my computer just plays over the main outs on the 1222FX. Thus I also hook one side of the main outs into my practice amp. When I want to jam loud I just plug my main outs into my bigger amp and subwoofer. The only questionable thing so far I've run across and I've read others noticed the same thing is that the trimm (gain) input level needs to be set like at 95% with my Shure SM58 mike. However my voice on my recordings is coming out loud and clear so the 1222FX is doing the job. The manual is a bit thin for someone new to mixers and audio recording in general thus the 4 star rating.
