The Behringer ULTRABASS BXL3000A is a bass combo amp that delivers a ton of great features in an economical package. A wedge-shaped bass combo with a powerful 15" Hard Attack aluminum cone speaker and 300W of output, it is a perfect size for most gigs. It provides a clean and a distortion channel, each with full control. Its 7-band EQ features a revolutionary See-What-You-Play FBQ frequency indicator that immediately shows you which bass frequency corresponds with which fader on your EQ so you can tweak your sound instantly. Beyond that, a switchable ULTRABASS subharmonics processor and a compressor with adjustable threshold let you further tailor your sound, while a musical limiter keeps you from ratting out when you're hitting the strings hard. An included 2-button footswitch lets you select channel and ULTRABASS function on the fly. An FX loop is provided, and a headphone jack lets you keep your practicing to yourself.

I practice with this thing all the time and it never lets me down. The drummer has a very nice double bass and this thing holds up perfectly! Also were shooting at a different style of music so i hook up my grunge distortion pedal to this and it wounds BRUTAL. Overall this amp is an amazing piece of work that's great for the price, highly recommendable.
I had this amp for a year and a half now and I am pleased with it. It's different knobs and equalizer switches gives a large variety of different sounds. Although the amp has good sound, the ultrabass sounds horrible. The knobs seem like they could come off easily and the amp started falling apart and having slight problems. I do recommend it for a temporary or practice amp especially for the cheap price.
Iۡve had this amp for about two weeks. I bought this amp so I could have a good practice amp and something that could hold its own during group practice and/or at a live small venue. This amp has its good and bad. The good is itۡs very loud, itۡs very powerful, it provides deep rich bass tones, it has lots of controls to shape your sound, it has a foot switch, and overall it seems rugged enough. Iۡm in a band, Iۡve been playing bass for many years, I play mostly classic rock and blues. Itۡs fairly compact considering it weighs 70 pounds and I really like the tilt back design. The bad is it doesnۡt have wheels, it doesnۡt have an external speaker out, it doesnۡt have a built-in tuner, it doesnۡt have two side carrying handles, the CD input sounds terrible, it hums when you get too close to it plugged-in at almost any volume, and the EQ doesn't seem overly responsive on the higher end. I believe the humming can be minimized with better pickups. Also, I view the controls as fairly delicate and as ۡ̏going to breakۡݕ_ sometime down the road. All-in-all, and especially for the price, Iۡm very happy with this amp.
