Deceiving

By Wesley

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL1800A 180W 1x12" Aluminum Cone Bass Combo:

I bought this amp 2 weeks ago, and I was surprised by the price, and when I plugged in it sounded really good. I bought it took it home and it held up. I turned it up today to get over the drummer, and the amp sounded horrible! It buzzed and got distorted. Its barely louder than my previous Fender Rumble 15 Watt amp and it sounds the same when they are loud.

Know how is the key.

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL1800A 180W 1x12" Aluminum Cone Bass Combo:

I bought this amp 2 days ago. So far I love it. i have a Fender amp, and it sounds very shallow. This is a great amp if you want portability, and power. Don't listen to the bad reviews. You just have to research your equipment a little, and actually read the manuals. As with any amp you might buy, there's always a chance of it crapping out on you. Overall, great amp. I suggest it for the beginner to intermediate, or if your on a budget.

It's okay.

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL1800A 180W 1x12" Aluminum Cone Bass Combo:

I've had this amp for a couple months now and it's a fairly decent amp. It's definately loud, I'll give it that but the tone is nothing special. It sounds watered down. Also, the features are for the most part useless. Things such as the ultrabass and the compressor make no differnece really. I don't recommend buying this amp. The Fender 100watt Rumble is a little bit more expensive but it has MUCH better tone and is actually louder than this guy. -I Do Not recommend buying this amp.

Not so good for the Price

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL1800A 180W 1x12" Aluminum Cone Bass Combo:

This amp is to big to be a practice amp and to small to be heard if you are playing with drums. The Sound isn't the best, its very flat and sounds like someone hitting a hollow wall really fast. The sound only goes one way it wont fill a room like most amps will. I would not recoment buying this at all. save up and buy a GK cab if you are on a low budget or if you have the money buy an Ampeg.

Do NOT Buy!

By Oz

from New York

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL1800A 180W 1x12" Aluminum Cone Bass Combo:

I bought this amp based on it's tone and shockingly low price. However after several successful tests runs at home , this amp actually fried during the warm-up of the first gig I used it at. I will NEVER buy another product from this company. Trust me, spend a lil more and buy GK or fender or anything else.
