AMAZING practice amp

Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BX600 Combo Amp:

I originaly bought this amp when i was just starting on bass and i needed an amp that could keep up with a drum set. This amp really performs on sound. it has such a beautiful low end that i thought you could only get for around $500. it's a little short of power for a small gig, but for practicing in a basement it worked great. I would max out the volume, and plug my active bass into the passive jack, and there would only be the slightest hint of distortion (and i think it was from my cord). the 4 band EQ is well set, but i always perfered more bands, like 7 or 8. i played this amp for just about every type of music, and it worked with minimal EQ adjustments. The tone control works fine, but i always preffered using the EQ to work with tone. In the end, i just think that for a 60 watt amp, it's amazing, but there just isn't room for 60 watt amps in todays world. if you want to hold a small gig, you need at least 100 (or a lot of speakers) and for bedrooms you only realy need like 30.
