I?ve owned this amp since Dec. ?06. Being a Vocal Performer I was looking for a product that could handle like a PA without having to lug around two speakers and an external amp. While researching products I had heard that the Roland Brands where the best and offered a truer sounds/wattage ratio, but Behringer offered the same amount of wattage plus effects for a cheaper price. After reading some reviews I saw that some people had positive experiences and others very negative experiences with the Behringer Brands. So I wasn?t too sure whether or not I was ready to waste 300 dollars. Then a friend of my mine (who happens to work @ Guitar Center Pro Audio Dept.) and I were talking about my need to purchase a PA. Without me making any reference to the reviews I had read, he starts saying how the Behringer Ultratone K3000FX is the best bang for your buck. I decided to take his word for it and picked mine up the following week (I also got the 2 year warranty just in case). So far, so good. No major malfunctions. I love this Amp! Way more than what I expected. At the moment I?m running a drum Machine, Sampler, and a Digitech vx400 Vocal ? Modeling Floor processor without any problems. Everything sounds clear, crisp, and very loud. I?ve also use the same set up while working with a live drummer in a garage and the samples and vocals cut through the drums with ease and my drummer plays hard. I only had to turn the volume up a little past half way. I?ve also used this amp to play Bass. It was able to compete with a Marshall full stack and a drum set. Both players eventually told me to turn the volume down a bit because I was drowning them out. I?ve also used this amp to do back yard parties. I hooked up my turntable and mixer and it did the Job very well. The only bad thing I can say about this amp is that the FX?s are mediocre. Don?t expect much form them. But other than that this amp ROCKXS! Has enough watts for almost any application. If you?re an apartment dweller, get to ready to hear some wall banging from your neighbors because this BEAST is hard to contain. Although there are some bad reviews out there, is amp is worth taking a chance on. But get the warranty just in case.

I purchased this amp for my church, two months later it start cutting in and out, I took it to their authorized dealer, picked it up back with the same problem, took i back to them they said it could no be repaired so they would send it to the manufacturer and they will send me a new one, after two months I called and was told they haven't heard from Behringer, I ask for the number and call Behringer, they sent me one which could not even turned on, sent it back to them by tis time it's running into seven months, two months later they sent me one, instead of the new one it was so old and dirty, it seems like they dug this one out of the dumpster, with all this frustration I won't bother to send it back to them I will just trade it in for another brand, thus end the relationship with Behringer and their products.

keyboardist--I own it

By Jack Bumgarner

from Orlando, fl

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

How can you beat it for the money-I use it as a single and with the band-handles my keyboard and B-4 with ease. The direct outs into concert PA's are clean and the stereo separation is perfect. I use a second amp linked on band gigs for the stereo effect--really fills up the stage with sound. Knobs could be a little more solid but compared to the rest of the package--who cares

Dynamite in Small Packages

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I bought this amp last weekend & was lost for words when I ran a series of sequences. The sound was crysal clear & did not break up at high volumes. After 30+ yrs. of playing boards, this is the only amp that did'nt sound "boxy". Keep up the good work Behringer, I'm sold for life.

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

This is a great amp. I use it in my studio, it's hooked up to my digital Roland v-drums as my main drum amp. In addition, I use it also for my Bass guitar and house PA for vocals. It also has a input so I can hook up my iPod to it, very nice. This amp rocks!!!

Great acoustic gig amp!

By Drifter350

from Houston, Texas

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I bought this Behringer Ultratone K3000FX amp after having a different brand 50 watt acoustic amp crashing only after 1 gig. I actually paid about the same for the Behringer, got 250 more watts of power and have been very pleased with the performance/quality of this amp. I played an outdoor private solo gig and ran my acoustic guitar, vocals and harmonica through this monster. It filled the yard with a rich-clean sound that was plenty loud. I had no feedback problems with the amp situated to the side and rear of me. This is my entire P.A. system! I've even played bass through it. Great product. Highly recommended for small acoustic acts!

Huge sound

By Eric

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I run a drum machine and an American Audio CK1000 through this amp and am very pleased with the sound. It handles the punch of the drum machine very well and still gets the mixer sound great too. I also got the 2yr warranty just in case. But so far no problems, just alot of jamming out and alot of fun.

Great multi-purpose Amplifier!

By Stu

from Detroit

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I just purchased this amp and gave it a test drive! Holy loudness! I clearly heard my keyboard patches for the first time in a long time as I've always used a wedge at every gig with very little reference. Then I played some NIN bass patches through it cranked and was also impressed that the speaker belted those out with ease too! I also have a Vox Tone Lab LE that I'll be patching through the K3000, but it just fryed on me so have to use my AD50 until it comes back from warranty repair. I am anxious to hear the tones through it as it seems crystal clean with the most all the keyboard patches. (Roland XP30, XP10, MS200B, and Motif 7)Only the rhodes (Yamaha Motif) gets a little muddy on the low end which was resolved by lowering the low end EQ on the amp and that was all it took! Very impressive sounding amplifier with stereo XLR outputs! Perfect for the price all day long!

Best Amp Yet!

By Gordy Coolman

from Fallon, NV

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I've been playing casual gigs with this amp for a year now. It is the least problematic amp I've ever used, say, in the last 20 years. The controls enable you to set up the right sound to the room or setting your playing. I think this is the most important point for the kind of gigs I play. I also like using drum machines and effects with my keyboard. People really do take notice and say a lot of nice things about the well rounded combo like sound. The amp's PA is also really cool. There are no feedback problems. The amp also looks great and helps create a really good impression to the folks who are paying the tab for the gig. It's also fairly easy to load and unload with the handles on each side. Lots of musicians I meet ask lots of questions about the amp. It's a 'goodin!'

What A Price Point!!

By James Bond

from Monroe, NC

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

For the money this amp is great. I've played many others and it is equal to all of them. Also has a feedback finder built in. Didn't know about that until I got it home. Digital effects are clean. There's also plenty if power. The only thing I find about the amp is the cabinet. The carpet probably will fuzz up on you, but maybe you don't have cat's like we do. Overall I'm very happy with it.

owned it for an hour

By Stan

from Exeter, CA

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

This seemed like a good deal...until I got it home and turned it on. There was a crackling noise present with nothing hooked up to the amp. Sounded like a weak solder or loose connection. Behringer, please check the quality. This amp has good possibilities, I am sure that there are good ones out there, but all it takes is one to tarnish an image. I personally will have a hard time taking a chance with you again. Guitar Center thank you for the way you handled the return.

It's a Gamble!!

By Freshgreen86

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

The K3000FX is a great sounding amp for this price. The woofer went out on mine after about 3 weeks. That's why I call it a gamble. I believe I just got a rare bad one as I have had no problems with other Behringer gear. Great EQ, nice effects, plenty of inputs. Great overall sound for keys....

Versatile

By Jim

from Holland, Europe

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

Nice sound, lots of usefull features and sounds great with allmost everything: accoustic guitar (with piezo) sounds superb, good with microphones, good with electic guitar modellers, but also very usefull as a small p.a. system at party's. Sound is very loud, but when you're raising the gaininputs (at 60% or more) the amplifier tends to distort slightly.

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I am in a small garage band... we got this amp a few years ago and it has surpassed expectations. We run almost everything through it... Distorted Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Vocals... Just a great amp... don't run a lot of distortion through it though it wasn't built for that

Finally a keyboard amp that can hold its own.

By Geoff

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I play keyboards with this amp and have been using it for about a mont or so. This amp is great if you're using multiple keyboards, I'm currently running a Korg Triton LE, Microkorg, and a Korg Kaossilator Pro through my amp all at once and it does just fine! Highly recommend this amp for anyone using multiple devices or who wants 300 watts of beastly power.

Nice Amp!

By Jeff Evans

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

This is an excellent amp for V-Drums! Very clean on the highs and low end. I'm not afraid of hitting the kick hard with this. You can't beat the price for the amount of power this gives! The EQ seems very active, in the sense that I didn't have to adjust it very much at all. I'm very happy with it!

Great PA system

By Brian of BAD LITTLE KITTIE

from Springfiled, Mass

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I use this Amp as my main PA for an acoustic duo. 1 Guitar and two vocals. I use a ART MP preamp as a direct box for the second vocal mic due to the fact that there is only one XLR input and a 1/4" mic just doest have the UMPH that I need, but the simple preamp solves that problem. I play small to medium sized clubs and have had no problem with sound. I hook up a monitor to the line out. For the price it is a steal, and is really all you need for a solo or duo act.

good after 2 years.

By Christopher Lister

from Salt Lake City, Utah

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

This is the amp to buy if you play analog synths or PC based midi instruments. It handles the high and low ends very well. It only gets muddy if you play too many instruments in the same freq range at the same time due to the physics of a single 15 and horn. That said, it could be improved by putting an XLR on all 4 input channels. (such a minor complaint.) And a seperate volume control for the line outs. The effects and EQ were better than I expected, but I usually do those functions I love this amplifier, and in spite of what other people have told me about this brand, Behringer is the first brand of equipment I look at when shopping for new gear.
