I?ve owned this amp since Dec. ?06. Being a Vocal Performer I was looking for a product that could handle like a PA without having to lug around two speakers and an external amp. While researching products I had heard that the Roland Brands where the best and offered a truer sounds/wattage ratio, but Behringer offered the same amount of wattage plus effects for a cheaper price. After reading some reviews I saw that some people had positive experiences and others very negative experiences with the Behringer Brands. So I wasn?t too sure whether or not I was ready to waste 300 dollars. Then a friend of my mine (who happens to work @ Guitar Center Pro Audio Dept.) and I were talking about my need to purchase a PA. Without me making any reference to the reviews I had read, he starts saying how the Behringer Ultratone K3000FX is the best bang for your buck. I decided to take his word for it and picked mine up the following week (I also got the 2 year warranty just in case). So far, so good. No major malfunctions. I love this Amp! Way more than what I expected. At the moment I?m running a drum Machine, Sampler, and a Digitech vx400 Vocal ? Modeling Floor processor without any problems. Everything sounds clear, crisp, and very loud. I?ve also use the same set up while working with a live drummer in a garage and the samples and vocals cut through the drums with ease and my drummer plays hard. I only had to turn the volume up a little past half way. I?ve also used this amp to play Bass. It was able to compete with a Marshall full stack and a drum set. Both players eventually told me to turn the volume down a bit because I was drowning them out. I?ve also used this amp to do back yard parties. I hooked up my turntable and mixer and it did the Job very well. The only bad thing I can say about this amp is that the FX?s are mediocre. Don?t expect much form them. But other than that this amp ROCKXS! Has enough watts for almost any application. If you?re an apartment dweller, get to ready to hear some wall banging from your neighbors because this BEAST is hard to contain. Although there are some bad reviews out there, is amp is worth taking a chance on. But get the warranty just in case.

I purchased this amp for my church, two months later it start cutting in and out, I took it to their authorized dealer, picked it up back with the same problem, took i back to them they said it could no be repaired so they would send it to the manufacturer and they will send me a new one, after two months I called and was told they haven't heard from Behringer, I ask for the number and call Behringer, they sent me one which could not even turned on, sent it back to them by tis time it's running into seven months, two months later they sent me one, instead of the new one it was so old and dirty, it seems like they dug this one out of the dumpster, with all this frustration I won't bother to send it back to them I will just trade it in for another brand, thus end the relationship with Behringer and their products.

Great sounding, flexible, powerful amp for cheap!

By Paul Roberts

from Kansas City, MO

I bought one of these amps a couple months ago and wanted to use it in a variety of settings before reviewing it. It is a solid amp, wonderful lows and great overall tone. One thing I was impressed with was how good it sounds mono by blending the L/R signals together as not all keyboard outputs do this well. I used to drag around powered speakers, a mixer, DI boxes and it is nice to have just this amp on my left and an extra EON G2 10" on my right. I play a variety of music and have to use a ton of different keyboard sounds. Acoustic piano, Rhodes, B3 organs and lead synth sounds, they all sound great on this amp. I bought some casters and mounted them on the bottom of the amp as it is a bit heavy to lug around, but worth the weight. The EQ is a nice touch and great to have some reverb I can add if I need to fill out a dead room. Great amp!

Great Amp, Very Happy

By Alan Pilarski

from Dayton, OH

Bought this amp, with the need to have vocals, keyboard and guitar. This amp does it all, 75 watts/channel is more than enough. Current set up I use it for two Mics', a keyboard and a guitar. It handles it just fine. Perfect for the small to medium sized gigs. Haven't really messed with the FX's at all. It is very loud and built well, easy to carry as well. Overall very happy with this amp!

Screaming highs

By Allen Halstead

from Chatham, NY

This amp is sturdily built, could produce a good sound but I have a difficult time eq'ing to my Roland keyboard ... I have to push the low end extremely and cut down the high end extremely ... the tweeter screams to uncomfortably loud for me ... it actually makes the samples from my Roland sound dirty and scratchy... although a bit on the heavy side, it's design makes it a bit cumbersome to carry from gig to gig ... Although I have had no reliability issues with it, I am going to trade it in for a proven Roland KC-550 ... sure it has 1/2 the CLAIMED wattage ... but i know it has a better, more well balanced sound

solid sound, solid gear

By mathew zacharias

from Auxvasse MO

Bought this amp in May, gigged all summer, most all gigs were outside at high volume, not a problem to report. Clear sound, nice piano reproduction, love the fourth channel monitor, run a pro 3 on top of it for rotary, Kurzweil PC2 & Hammond XK3, very good sound. Digital effects are pretty good but could be defined better, need to list ALL effects separately, not just categories. More options on the the submix would be nice, the knobs & eq sliders seem a little fragile, but the stereo outputs, sub outputs, & slave amp outputs give plenty of opportunity to add more power & customization. For the price, can't go wrong.

AWESOME!!!!

By Mark Gardner

from Ft Worth, Texas

I just bought online the Roland KC-350 120W Keyboard Mixing Amp thinking that since it was a very good name brand and for $500 that it HAD to be a great amp. However I was not able to play it until it arrived at my house. Boy was I ever disapointed. So much so that I brought it back to Guitar Center in Ft Worth (Thank you Nathan) and traded it in for the Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX. WOW!!! What a day and night difference. This thing totally ROCKS! As well as having a seven band EQ and all the effects.....but the very best part is that it is even cheaper than the Roland. I run three boards and a mic through it and it is spot on the best amp I have ever had. Being an old guy and playing all my life I just wanted to help anyone else out if they are looking at a similar purchase. God Bless!

I play this over my Marshall Stack any day!

By Gary

from Somewhere, TX

I play a Gibson Les Paul Custom using a Digitech GNX4 and this amp kicks at any gig. The one thing I really like is this Amp has a XLR input for one of the channels making it perfect for my vocals and Talk Box. The built in effects are also a real plus since you can set their levels per channel keeping your guitar clean as a whistle using just your pedals. It has a real deep bass and crystal clear quality sound bringing the best sound out of your gear. I also use it for my Yamaha Drums and keyboards. It is the best bang for the buck and now the Marshall stack sits and collects dust. Another sweet thing is I can fit it in my car no problem. Any improvements..well it would be nice if you could assign multiple built in effects to each channel but I use reverb as the effect of choice out of all of them. It allows you to use one effect per all and you add the amount used per channel unless I missed something. Instructions who reads those anymore? Oh yeah they hide these in the keyboard section so don't settle for less in the guitar section trust me on this it's a real power house I would give 10 stars to if I could!

Best value, quality product

By David Kupsick

from West Palm Beach, FL

I am using the K3000FX as a PA system to play over backing tracts (RCA input). I run my tenor sax mic to XLR line 1 (which is VERY hot)and have found plenty of EQ and power to produce quality fidelity even for an outside venue. I also use it as a conventional keyboard amp in a rock cover band and am very pleased with its sound and effects. For a little over half of the price of the Roland KC-550 the Behringer is a solid product.

How could it be any better?

By Ryan

from Hernando, Ms

This amp is great. I use this for my Korg M50-88, and the sound quality is amazing. The Bass is great, the high notes are great, and when you turn it up the windows are rattling. I am very impressed with this amp.

Awesome amp

By P. Leighton

from lincoln,ne

I"ve owned this amp for a little over a year never once had any kind of problem with it save for some sort of weird power spike at a locale venue which did weird things to my fx board on it but even that some how fixed it self so not sure what that was all about but in either case the sound of the amp is awesome. We've had a drum machine hooked up to it, 2 keyboards, vocals and its like ok lets do this never once complaining and it seems like with power to spare. Thinking about buying a second one cuz this one has worked that well. Although about the only negative thing i can say about it is the pure size and weight. When your unloading equipment to go do a show its a two person amp but the handles on it do make it easier to carry
