I needed an eq for insert for acoustic guitar and hand drum. This eq worked nicely and the price was very resonable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again or recommend it! Great EQ!
This is a great equalizer for the money. I purchased this mainly for the crossover and separate output to control the subs. The added feature that is a plus is the feedback control circuit, this way you are able to eliminate the frequencies that are causing feedback. As a mobile DJ it does an excellent job tweaking the sound. You can't go wrong with this one.
For my small system...this EQ worked wonders! i dont specifically use the feedback detection but all in all, combined with my Crown XLS 202 amp, and an old tascam mixer IT ROCKS! the only thing i dislike is the terrible POP you get if you power it down before att. your amps volume...but thats my bad anyways. I would recommend this EQ to anyone!
I bought this EQ because I needed to add one to my DJ sound system, but had no clue which one would be the best to purchase for my needs. I debated between a couple of different ones, and after reading the customer reviews, decided on the Ultragraph Pro. It has EXCEEDED my expectations! The LED lights on the knobs that show which frequencies causing feedback have been a HUGE help to me. Plus, for the low price, it made my system sound like a million dollars. If you're in the market for an EQ like I was, buy this product. I can't find anything negative about it.
My sound system went from zero to 60 by plugging this thin in. The Eq features are great, but the feedback detection feature is the best. In just a second you know where and how much and can make corrections instantly. Easy to use without any nasty thick manual that needs read to use. I highly recommend this unit for the price, can't be beat.
I got this eq to go with my vlp300. It's a very nice product; the FBQ function puts on a nice lightshow if you're just playing music through the eq (the faders light up as frequencies pass through them). It's actual performance is very excellent as well, my speakers sound much much cleaner now (seeing as I have a dead tweeter in one of them), and I can just hear more stuff that usually doesn't stick out as much. However, it's metal chassis doesn't seem as rugged as some other rack mount stuff I have. Also I wish the sub out had a 1/4 inch jack instead of just a balanced xlr jack. But I'd highly recommend this product to anybody who needs an inexpensive eq for anything.
I bought this unit several months ago for my PA system. The Ultragraph has an excellent feedback locating system, which helps the user boost, the volume to the maximum level without getting harsh distortion. Just boost the signal until the unit picks up a feedback warning, then adjust the EQ to eliminate it so that you can turn the volume level up even higher. The unit also has a very useful subwoofer outlet with an adjustable crossover frequency so that you can get more punch from your system. This unit can make a PA system go from sounding cheap to sounding like a much more expensive system.
When our church added 2 wings of unequal size to our main sanctuary, I knew sound would be a nightmare. We added 2 of these, one per wing, along with 2 Behringer EP1500's, feeding 4 Community CPL23B's gimbal mounted on a 9 foot ceiling in one wing, and 6 in the larger one. I will have to say, I am impressed. All of this is fed from a Mackie mixer, along with the amplification and speaker in the main portion of the sacntuary, and I will have to say, the Behringer EQ's helped me get it balanced perfectly! You can run a track, start walking from the rear of a wing towards the pulpit area, and not hear the transition between rooms (and the jump from 9 foot ceilings to 16 foot!). Most folks, especially our hearing impared folks, like to sit in the wings! These EQ's are a good all around item. I plan soon to upgrade the older equipment, and it will be the same Behringer EQ and amp!
