Deep Bass Sounding

By Mike Parie

from Vermont Mountains

Its no Peavey or Marshall, but it is acceptable for my teenage daughter just starting off, this keeps her off of mine. It has a nice deep, low rumble for the price, not a lot of bells & whistles to confuse or overwhelm a beginner either, just a good amount of the needed features one needs & wants to start off with

Good For Beginners

By Non of your concern

from Frankfort, Kentucky

You have to remember this is a practice amp! For just practicing at home, or for beginners. It gets the job done, but it could be better. It could be louder, but I think it's fine. I am no longer a beginner on bass and I'm now playing bass for a band, I'm getting a better amp.

By Jester8The1Clown3

This is review isnt about the amp i havent personally used it. Im writing this review to tell you not to listen to him because u cant compare a Guitar amp to a Bass amp. Of course there is going to be a difference in sound.

Doesn't Have the Rumble I Need

By thegothllama

from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

I got this amp for my birthday and I thought it was the coolest thing. But after I actually got into playing my 97' Fender Jazz Bass, and got a Squire Strat PaK, I noticed that the guitar amp was a thousand times louder than the Beringer. So I learned that Fender amps are a lot better made than Beringers and that Beringers aren't that good of a brand(except for their effect pedals). So...I would recommend this amp if you need something cheap and gets the job somewhat done. But if you know what you're doing, get a Crate,Peavey, or a Fender practice amp.
