Comments about Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz Pedal:

It has a great Sound, but you get what you pay for. It is in plastic casing, which isn't that bad, but I wouldn't trust it at a live performance. However, if you just want to spend a little bit of money and aren't planning to take this outside your house, it's great. It is prone to interference, even when the effects are not in use, which can be frustrating if you are around devices that cause interference. When not around other devices that cause interference, though, it's fine.

Comments about Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz Pedal:

Got back into playing a couple years back, but only recently bought an electric again. Wanted to play around with some chunky riffs and needed a fuzz pedal. But I also wanted to keep things as low on the cost spectrum as I could, since I'm really only playing for myself. This fits the bill on both accounts.

The options are pretty wide-open, with control over lows/mids and highs, as well as level and gain. You need to play around a good bit to find the best settings for your style, but they're in there.

The plastic casing feels more than strong enough for casual home use. The metal base gives it a good weight so it'll stay in place. If you're going to go that route, getting into the battery compartment under the switch, and closing it back up, is kind of a pain. That's why I use a 9v adapter and daisy chain.

Comments about Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz Pedal:

Used this pedal 3 times and was relatively happy with it, for the money anyway. The fourth time I plugged it in I got a loud hum when I tried to use it in bypass. I changed it out with a DS1 and the hum went away, so it wasn't my other equipment. Changed back and the hum returned (sounds like an 'electrical short' hum).
