Nothing much like this.

By RICHARD SKELLEY

from Massillon, Ohio

I have used this mixer in making up several 'portable' sound set-ups in a 6U Rolling Rack along with a 2U amp and a 1U power conditioner. Having 8 mic pre-amps available, a few stereo inputs, a monitor Aux Send, and an onboard FX in a 3U rack mount keeps this set-up portable with nearly all of the flexibility needed to put together just about any short term event. Rugged enough to handle all of the bumps and bounces a rolling case gets. Fast and easy to set in place, hook up to speakers and inputs, and you've got pro-sound quality in a relatively small package. The amp is by far the heavy component in this case. The mixer weight is negligible by comparison. Everyone who sees the setup is impressed by the ease of use and the quality of the mix. I have used these mainly for outdoor events as part of a portable PA set-up often including multiple wireless mics, insturments and A/V gear. Phantom power is there for running the DI boxes, it all just works and works well. There's enough EQ there for the overall sound to balance out between channels and voices.

Great in rack mixer for your band too!

By Matthew Chevalier

from Houston, Texas

I bought this mixer for our cover band to simplify our PA setup. We keep this mixer along with a power conditioner, crossover, an amp for our mains and an amp for our subs all in one road case. We dialed in our mix and all we simply have to do is pull out the main and sub cables, plug them in to the speakers, and plug in our vocals and instruments. Power up the conditions and we're ready to rock. Everything stays in one case and it makes it easier to setup / tear down. We leave the mix as is for show after show. The only adjustment we make is how loud we want to be, main gas. It could use a mute button for the channels and mids. So far it has worked great and has even made our system sound cleaner vs. the old Peavey mixer we were using.

Perfect for my application

By STEPHEN MARCHAND

from Baton Rouge, LA

I use it as a live sub-mixer for my drum kit to feed to the main board. I find it perfect for this application. I am NOT an electro-wiz or PA kind of guy but I got it setup and running in about 10 min. and had my drums EQ'ed and ready to go in about 20min. If you need a sub-mixer for your kit, this is the way to go!

Sweet Sound!

By Andy

from Ky

This thing ROCKS. Perfect sound quality and amazing effects. It was a great transition for me not having to lug around a board with the amps and speakers, this way you can also leave the board plugged up to the amps forever, which is less tangled wires. I love it!

Nice little submixer

By OHT Steve

from Oak Harbor, Wa.

I use this unit as a submixer for drum mics in a small (108 capacity) venue. It works great, very quiet. Would be nice if they added channel mute capability. Otherwise, as with all the other Behringer products I've bought, I'm very happy with it.

it performs well

By DC

from norfolk, virginia

I use this mixer in live applications. just playing recorded music for a banquet or live on stage with vocals, keyboards..etc. I have never had a problem. I put it in a road case which makes it easy to transport. This thing is really light weight. Since I use all powered speaker setup..this really helps to keep it compact. I stack the mixer on another case to put it at eye level.
